So now this officially makes Monarch the uncle to Hank and Dean. Dr. Girlfriend is their aunt and Rusty's sister-In-law and by her marriage to Monarch their aunt. And this would mean Monarch was also related to J.J, meaning his whole life he has been arching his brothers. It's always been a Cain and Able story.

I love that the meaning of the "Venture Brothers" changes as the show goes on. At first we all assume it's Hank and Dean, but the show doesn't seem to really be about them, and they are bumbling idiots at the best of times. the real humor always came from the absurdity behind the reality of old adventure shows like Johnny Quest, and that came out best when focus was on Rusty, Brock, and their villains. then Rusty has a brother in JJ, and we're all like, oh of course, THEY'RE the Venture Brothers. JJ even says it at some point. But then the show focuses less and less on JJ and resumes being about Doc and his villains, particularly the Monarch. And I'm sure some of us put it together, and while I may have thought it once, I definitely didn't actually think they were brothers (except that beard felt a little similar). Then leading up to and after JJ's death, it began to give Hank and Dean a lot of character, and again, we thought, oh the show IS about them. The whole clone thing happened, Dean got edgier and wiser, and Hank got more fun and free-spirited. It was really enjoyable to watch these one-note characters really grow. But then this happened, and we realized we had been fooled all along. The whole show really WAS about Doc and Malcolm. And yeah I began to suspect it for real leading up to it, but as we never got real tangible confirmation, I never truly believed until right here. Venture Bros is a genius show, not just about failure, like everyone likes to say, but about family.

True outrage can make noise in space

First of all, I loved the Monarch's yell. He was sooo pissed off to learn that he and Rusty were blood related (half bros most logically). And this was after he finally REGAINED his level ten status, found that that he COULDN'T kill his arch nemesis, and everyone recognized his deep and unique hatred for Dr Rusty Venture. Moving on, I have to say that I am over the bloody moon! I've been waiting five years for this moment. What was implied in "Arrears in science" is now basically fully canon! And it's a very poetic reveal in the end. Malcolm and Rusty are the titular Venture Bros. Their father was an asshole, and there will be a lot of confusing shit to sort through in S8. Not just arching rights, but to uncover the past. I think we'll get flashbacks of Malcolm's mom! and the plane crash! Will Malcolm take half of what Rusty now owns? like JJ did in S1? Will he try to briefly arch Rusty now knowing they're related? or will he give up quickly (explaining how Rusty cordially calls him "Malcolm" in the time machine joke from S7E9!)? Sorry to rant! But I'm just so fucking happy! The Venture Bros come in trios! A legitimate pair of twins and an illegitimate half brother who's surname begins with FI!! JJ and Rusty Venture, and Malcolm FItzcarraldo. Dean and Hank Venture, and Dermott FIctell! It's like poetry!!

It make so much sense! The Monarch’s deep seeded hated for Rusty comes from a subconscious hatred for what his bio father did to his foster father and bio mother!! His hated is towards Dr Venture, but all this time he was after the wrong Dr Venture!

Jonas really was a villain all along; he was just hiding in the light instead of hugging the shadows. That's where the worst of the villains hide; the villains' villains. They pretend to be the good guys, smiling and 'helping' while they screw everyone over and laugh themselves to sleep about it.

They finally revealed what they have been teasing for years! But now we have to wait another 3 years for the next season. Can't wait!

Rusty is gonna be so mad. He'll probably have to split his wealth in half again, like he did with JJ. Bet he'll be more annoyed by that, than having a new brother. Dean is gonna be annoyed that Malcolm is his new Uncle. After he paid him a million dollars to go away lol.

The Monarch might have a legal claim to Jonas Venture Sr.'s estate, but seeing as how Rusty pissed most of that away he'd be lucky to get the old Venture compound. Everything Rusty has now is because his brother, Jonas Venture Jr. willed it to him so whatever claim the Monarch has is flimsy at best.

I always wonder how great it would be if the monarch and rusty joined forces. The idea of how powerful team venture can become once again. With the combination of Gary/Hatred/ Brock's muscle power, Dr. Girlfriend's knowledge of the guild/science/technology etc, Malcolm's ability to command, Rusty's ability to actually be a scientist when it comes to it or even possibly helping him become a great scientist instead of just the has-been son of one, as well as the inclusion of Billy QuizBoy and Pete white who have proven at times to be pretty smart and competent in their work; would make to be an entire new and powerful Team Venture.

We got robbed of the scene in Dr Ventures kitchen where he and the Monarch have to sit down and sort their shit out.

Woooh! This whole time we were lead to believe the show was about Hank and Dean, when in fact its about Doc V and The Monarch

A shame we’ll never see the aftermath.

I have this crazy theory and it feels like it makes more sense than them being bros. Okay, so as we saw from the venture bros, who have died about 15 times, they have some things wrong with them, not to mention inconsistent gaps of time in their memories, that is known for now. But Rusty remembers his childhood very consistently, from every thing his father did to humiliate him, to every day action man came to his room with a gun to his head. Why no gaps of memory? Cause Rusty is still Rusty. He's never died, or if he has he's been quickly resuscitated. Not to mention he had a consistent tumor inside him that accurately depicted how long he had been inside Rusty, otherwise he would have come with an off number of years of living. So how is he a clone? And how is he related to malcolm? And why do they never once mention his mother? Answer is so insane yet so clear. RUSTY IS A CLONE OF DOCTOR VENTURE SR! You think a man who is so narcissistic, who willingly left kids and friends abandoned for decades, would be willing to raise a son? Of course not! In his effort to make himself immortal, or just solve mortality, he created not one, but two ways. One way was the device that preserved what was left of him from that incident that we saw in a recent season. Another was, well, Rusty. As we saw from the tumor that grew up to be the completely competent and quickly developed super scientist, Dr. Jonas Venture Jr, this was probably what Venture Sr had in mind when he cloned himself. But somewhere along the experiment, the clone split like twins, and one consumed the other. It still being a viable being and Dr. Jonas not wanting to admit to failing a project due to his inflated ego, he called it a success, but knew it was too risky to let the world know it was just him trying to play god, so he called it his son. Except that one time where he called it his greatest invention, which makes even more sense now that you think about it. This makes even more sense as to why Malcom hates Dr. Venture. He somehow knows subconsciously what he did to his family, and is projecting it onto Rusty, who he also on a subconscious level, knows that hes basically Jonas Sr. The question ask, why was he always so adamant on rescuing Rusty? I mean, knowing now that he's not his son but himself you'd think he wouldn't care if he died, shoot, just pop another one out, right? Wrong. For 2 reasons I can come up with he would vehemently try to save Rusty. 1, pride. If Rusty ever were to be killed, to him itd be like someone killing Dr. Jonas, and knowing how big an ego he has, would never allow that to happen. 2, too many witnesses. Unlike Rusty and his 2 boys, and brock, who basically kept the circle amongst them and only them, he had an entire team of people that worked with constantly who probably would not be on the same page as just bringing out another boy out the hatch and reupload some memories. What was he to say to his teammates that could potentially see rusty die one day and tomorrow be fine? No way was he slipping his way out of that if it were to occur. This also explains why he was always such a dick to rusty. He didn't see him as a son, but as shittier version of himself. Probably hated seeing himself act so awkward, so different from his macho and charismatic self that he couldn't help but tease and bully him growing up. So yeah, that's my theory. I also assume that the device that kept him alive was suppose to basically be what Rusty did with the boys, except transfer his memories to Rusty if he were to meet an untimely death, but he probably scrapped that when he saw what Rusty grew up to be. We'll see if I was close to being right next year.

Man this season and finale was amazing. See you guys in another 2-3 years lel thats probably when the next season will come

I love that the last episode ends for the villains the same way basically every day goes for them when they are arching rusty venture. With death by sampson a near certainly.

I always thought it was weird that they couldn't care less about the mass murder coming through the teleporter. Like yeah hench die, brock kills, but

SO many bombshells dropped this season! I'm honestly still trying to process it all. It'll be an interesting start next season, though even that could be the biggest understatement of the year! Hank's on his Bat-Spirit Journey, Dr. Rusty Venture and The Monarch know they're related, Rusty himself is a clone!....huh so for that matter, does that imply that Jonas Jr. was also a clone, technically? I'd appreciate help trying to sort this out in my head. So Rusty back in season 1 had residual memories of him absorbing his brother in the womb, can those memories transfer to the clone? When the original Rusty died, does that mean a tumor version of Jonas Jr. died along with him too?

It does not make any sense that Rusty's a clone because that wouldn't clone JJ too. Also in previous seasons Hank hinted at having vague memories of his previous deaths. Also if Rusty's a clone where are his clones and why was he cloned because it was hinted/ implied that Jonas only dabbled in it and Rusty was the one that was actually able to finish it with success.

What if the current Rusty is a clone and JJ was a genetic mutation caused by an imperfect cloning process, and the dream of Rusty eating JJ in the womb was just a metaphor (in this case it may of been a very very early clone of rusty so JJ could of been "living inside him for years")? Or alternatively, what if JJ is actually Rusty, and "Rusty" was just supposed to be a sort of living "P.R.O.B.L.E.M" that was meant to incubate a poorly cloned or heavily injured Rusty, and Venture Senior died before being able to "extract" JJ?

So, this means that Johnny Quest and Hadji were brothers all this time! Min. Is. Blasted.

Wow, these Guild operatives really don't care about the other operatives, do they? They don't even bother warning them not to use the teleporter or it will kill them...

MALCOLM AND RUSTY ARE THE TITULAR VENTURE BROS ALL ALONG. (+late JJ) However I have my doubts whether Hank is a Venture. They need to show us what happened during the Plane Crash Incident.

How come the previous scene where Brock is slaying all of the soldiers in the new HQ isn't up on KZread anymore? Can't seem to find it

I had that scene posted a while back and it was there for a couple of weeks, but then it got removed. My guess is they're doing the same for all channels that post it.

The truth being that the show is cancelled.

I have a theory of Rusty being Malcolm's clone. And there wasn't an original Rusty.

Don't know. Maybe they needed it for his Guild medical records or something. Hopefully they'll throw an explanation our way in the new season.

It would have been way better if they hadn't even said it. Just leave the cliffhanger of the Monarch screaming. Most of fans already knew it, so they would get what they were talking about.

I theorize that both Rusty and the Monarch come from the same mother.

Honestly, a few years now. I remember in the season 6 teaser, where Watch and Ward talked about the Blue Morpho killing villains ( kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z4uAlrqfcreplZM.html) , I saw a few people say it in the comments section. It's probably been around longer than that, but that's when I first took notice of the theory.

My question is why they were running those tests in the first place

Making sure their wasn't a surprise if he was killed. Like how The Batman Who Laughs got made or his blood vaporized and released a toxin.

Honestly, the Monarch and Rusty do look similar enough to believably be related; makes me wonder which of their parents cheated. Dr Venture was a legitimate psycho without emotion or empathy, so he definitely had the faculties of a cheater, but that could also be a reason for Rusty’s mother cheating. The Monarch’s dad was rich as hell, so it honestly lends credence to Rusty’s mother being the cheater, and they sharing a father. This could also explain why Rusty doesn’t actually have his dad’s super-intelligence, and is a ginger.

Well, Blue cheated on her in an orgy with two famous women. He was filled with shame and said he tried to have a kid with her. Jonas offered his "science" to help with her fertility problem. By Science I mean he probably showed her the tape he made of the orgy and seduced her to get her own back.
