Salute to the people who sing powadas for keeping our maratha history alive

Narayana Rao was born on Aug 10, 1755 and became Peshwa in Dec 1772. He was murdered 9 months later on Ganapathi Chaturthi on Aug 30, 1773, so Narayana Rao had just turned 18 three weeks before his death. So he was just a teenaged boy who was victimized for his advisors' wrong decisions. Om Shanti, dear young Peshwa. May you have found peace at the Lord's feet. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 The sad truth is that Tuloji Pawar, the chief conspirator & go-between of Gardis & Raghoji was executed few years later for his role in Narayana Rao's murder but no one executed Anandi Bai or Raghoji. So people in high places got away with murder while Tuloji Pawar & Sumer Singh Gardi were both killed.

Most historians blame Sadashiv Rao for loosing 3rd Battle of Panipat for using wrong strategies and unsightful decisions. But in actual his plan and bravery was more meaningful and worth understanding. I hope Epic channel can recreate story Sadashiv Rao's life. And showcase how he was betrayed during Panipat and how he fought till his last breath.

They lost because they had no money to pay their mercenaries who ditched the army when it got difficult. Additionally, a huge crowd of women & pilgrims followed the army & they had to ensure the safety of civilians too. Only lean armies succeed. Even so, the Maratas had decimated the left flank of the Afghans. But at around 2 pm in the afternoon on Maha Sankranthi day in Jan, 1761, Vishwas Rao fell to a stray bullet or Cannon ball. The soldiers lost their confidence when he died that rhey began to flee the field and let the Afghans clinch victory from the jaws of defeat.

Marathas came much later in 17th century for 600 urs rajputs fought against arabs

3:30 it's not bajirao peshwa he was unbeatable and very dangerous military cavalry general who never lost a battle, it was balaji bajirao (nana saheb)

Rana Sanga's Army was beaten up by light cannons, Hemu's army lost because Hemu on elephant got hit by an arrow in eye. Bhau's Army lost because Vishvas Rao on horseback got hit by bullet. Actually these three battles proved the importance of long ranged weapons over fancy Swords.

When Great Heroes becomes Villain they are Greatest worst vilian ever ..- Raghunath Rao Peshwa.. Once he captured Peshawar and Attock and also once he let his Own nephew killed.. And even called Britishers to interfare leading to loss of thousands Maratha soldiers and loss to state.

Bhai Rahim, please read carefully the history. Padmavati is an imaginary story, the whole story is Hindi movie. In Allaha-udin's cornicles there is no mentioned about Padmavati nor in the Rajput sources. This was the poem well written 200 yrs later after Khilji's death by Mallik Muhammed Jayasi. The whole notion of talking parrot etc. is found in many Arabic and other folklore.

2:24 wrong statement, Nanasaheb never considered himself king he was prime minister of Marhatha Empire. Hindavi swarajya from Himalay to Ramsetu was the dream of the founder Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. There is a correspondence/letter sent by Raghoba to Nanasaheb about fulfillment of this dream, the letter was sent by Raghoba when he reached and won Attok. 3:28 So many errors in this video. This statement need to be corrected to "Nanasaheb" not "Bajirao". Bajirao Peshwa was not alive at the time of Panipat. Panipat happened 20 years after death of Bajirao Peshwa. 8:30 - 11:00 Many statements and depictions about Narayanrao Peshwa are also wrong. In the end, Mention of Dnyayadhish Ramshastri Prabhune was also necessary and important. Ramshastri was the Judge in court case of Murder of Narayanrao. Ramshastri gave verdict against Raghoba for Murdering Narayanrao.

Peshwa was not a king! They were prime ministers of Chhatrapati of satara, and it's nanasaheb alias Balaji bajirao, son of peshwa bajirao, and anandibai was blamed for murder of Narayanrao peshwa by changing words in order to arrest Narayanrao peshwa, but anyone who knows modi script which was official writing script of Maratha court, it was impossible to change meaning of order by changing some words.

They may have been prime ministers but they were in fact ruling. And ध changed to म is a famous story. In fact now used as an idiom.

It's happened in those days , when sons, father and other members of royal family kill their own family members for throne. Raghunath Rao was the part of those bloody politics. I think Raghunath Rao doesn't got the proper place in history.. in 1750s he lead the marathas into northern India 🇮🇳..may be he was frustrated that he was not chosen to be peshwa..instead of him his two younger nephews succeeded..even after the assassin of Narayan roa he failed to become peshwa because Narayan Rao 'wife gave birth to a son who become peshwa with the help of Nana fadnavis.. later Raghunath Rao went to the English for help and thus the first anglo maratha war was fought from 1775 to 1782.. thus Raghunath Rao played the role of villain in the maratha drama ..
