My favorite part is when Rhaenyra says “a terrible war is coming Alicent” and the piano cues in at 1:03 too scary and tragic 😢

The "it's too late Rhaenyra" brooke my heart, knowing what will happen next. They booth signed their death. This music perfectly translated the meaning of "it's too late". So much regrets, it's so sad

The music this season has been on a whole new level. Ugh, living for it.

What an absolute banger. This scene made me tear up a bit. It's honestly a tragedy that such a situation has unfolded based on so many other small occurrences that turned to become bigger and bigger. Eventually its as Alicent says, "too late for that". She speaks truth.

Using that mindset, we can say Rhaenyra gaslit Daemon to murder someone when she said “I want Aemond”, but Aemond couldn’t be found. We could say my daughter gaslit me to buy her a freezie when she was upset over the weekend. Such a silly, GenZ, type term. 😜

@@SceneOracle yeah but what you said still didnt change the fact that her son himself knew that viserys would never name him heir but his mom pushed the thought into his mind ? and the term gaslight was first introduced in 1938 after a movie named Gaslight which was about a husband manipulating his wife to get her inheritance, its not a gen z word bozo get your facts right

Sounds heavily inspired from Dune.

The wailing at the end was what broke me, as it signified that all hope of peace was gone.

This OST song has been in my head since the last episode! Now it will become even more so in the coming weeks!

Breath-taking,, the flame has gone out of control and will burn everything. Although the truth has been revealed, Alicent understands her own misunderstanding. How gently they combined the ambiance with the soundtrack!

This reminded me so much of the Dune ost when I heard it

The score, the acting, the script. This was such a powerful screen in a tremendous show. Really hits home when you know what’s to comes.

As soon as i heard this track i NEEDED to find it! One thing about Ramin, he shall NEVER disappoint with his soundtracks. I love the added vocals in this, it truly makes it all so much more powerful! Oh that war is coming! Thank you so much for this 🖤

I love this soundtrack. In my mind, I think that I have to find it right after I watch episode 3 S02, and finally I find it. Thank you so much. There is so much tragedy you can feel in this soundtrack, but somehow "excited/interested" at the same time (I really don't know what word I can put here...). I think that's "epic" they call - tragedy along with heroic

This piece needs to be put over the “doesn’t matter now” scene with Daenerys

Even though its not in the book, and i find the scenario laughable, i like what this scene does for the characters. I absolutely love the juxtaposition of going from Rhaenyra having potential doubts about her fathers faith in her, and Allicent being certain in Aegons claim. To Rhaneyra now being more boldened than ever she is the rightfull ruler, and Allicent now having doubts in the catalyst of all this.

It's amazing the soundtrack. Thanks for the upload!

Oh, now you mention it, I think the same, too. I've already heard "Gravity" for a long time, and yes, it sounds more like that soundtrack. Going from "soft" to "strong", and then, it's more like "affirm self-worth" or "victory" at the end of the soundtrack.

Don’t agree at all. It had deepness to the character of Rhaenyra. She first tries a path to avoid war and going nuclear with the dragons. Then she realises it’s too late and the war begins.

@@ricardocraveirocosta nah, it's bad writing. They are supposed to be at war, Alicent could have just summoned the guards or alerted them when she left and Rhaenyra would be dead. Also it's stupid of Rhaenyra to even go to kings landing in the first place. S8 GoT levels of terrible writing
