I got the hyperx cloud flights for 80

I actually have these Cloud Stingers and I mean these actually sound pretty good and not at all how he demonstrated. I got them new for $55 on ebay a few weeks ago and so that's also something else. I overall recommend them unless you really need that precise sound stage during gaming. If you need to hear your game and just need an ok mic this headset is worth it.

@@HardwareCanucks one thing you should've mentioned for the cloud flight review is that when using it wired on xbox, the mic doesn't work. I bought one then had to return it since I use PC and xbox

Ashish Patil i have used both and the HS50 is more comfortable and durable. The mic is better as well and the sound quality is just as good as the hyperx’s Go for corsair

If tuning an equalizer a bit,the stinger can be a pretty good experience.

The best headset i listened to was the cloud stinger ... i tried others but the stinger was better for csgo maybe the wired is better?

yeah it had a score of 8.9 for imaging on on rtings, so its one of the best gaming headset, for positional. I feel like I hear a lot more things with these, and they have very nice spark in their highs

Please give the microphone noise gating proper testing when you look at headsets. Reviews rarely get this right. How likely a mic is to pick up background noises should have a major impact on recommendations. Talking over the key strokes really doesn’t do enough, because your voice opens the noise gate. I would appreciate it if you sat at your desk with an unmuted mic, hitting keys, clicking and moving mugs around.

All I want is an open-back wireless gaming headset. All I want is for it to be better, if not at least on par to my SHP9500. I've been spoiled by open-back headsets, so if someone can make a wireless open-back for under $150, I'd love 'em. Literally just make the SHP9500 wireless for $50 more and I'd buy it. I don't even need a microphone on it to cut costs (even though it seems like most wireless headsets have like a $3 microphone attached to them).

I have had the Cloud flight for 3 years. Very nice sound and comfortable. Just replaced the earcups for memory foam, bought those at amazon, no more sweaty ears. Battery Life is still strong. \

Would you recommend getting these and not worrying about the mic quality since im getting these with a hyperx quadcast as a microphone

I have both and i must say. Comfort : stinger Sound quality: cloud flight Mic: cloud flighti also must say i prefer the mic of the stinger because its easy to mute and you know when it is muted. Also cloud flight has bagger battery life but the software is not precieze and you dont have any less om the head phone wich stinger has. I bought both of them for 80 euro and the one i usdle is stinger. Only reason i dont use cloud flight is because the top part is not comfortable i hurts my head after a hour.

I have the wired cloud stinger and love them. Not sure whether to get these or the cloud flight

I bought the original Stinger and took it back that day because it was like a vice grip on my head. I ended up getting the Steelsteries Arctis 5 which I like. Its comfortable and sounds good. At Walmart, I saw the Astro A10 which looks interesting but got a 3 star rating. A friend of mine swears on the HyperX Cloude 2 which is $100, but the Cloud X which looks to have the same body style (but made for consoles) is going for $70.

I love cloud flight’s detachable mic and the fact that I can turn off the mic with one touch. But, I wouldn't say I like stinger’s design, but on almost every website and nearly every person says stinger has a better sound which makes me so hard to choose between these two. Any recommendations?

It it compatible with mobile devices? And can it be programmed on mobile devices?

The HS70 are some of the most uncomfortable and painful headsets I have ever warn. Please you have been warned the HS70 are absolutely horrible in terms of comfort

Personally, I bought myself some Void Pro Wireless headphones for €65 refurbished, never been happier. Sound quality is pretty nice, and even its relatively subpar microphone can be salvaged by raising its bitrate in your sound settings. Overall, I'm more than satisfied. Might invest in that ModMic hype later, however!

Tried many headphones, and I didn't want to go to the amplifier/dac way, because it's always fun to use your main headsets with e.g. a nintendo switch or whatever from time to time. Due to the low resistance. So after many using many headphones, my favorite is still the Philips fidelio X2(HR). Despite having an open back, it still packs a very good base and overall very good sound quality. But quite pricey. But I am at least never going back to "gaming headphones/headsets". Sure there some cheapers that do justify their low price at least somewhat, but simply ain't worth it overall imho.

Are you changing the sample rate and bit depth to maximum in Windows playback and recording?

Really appreciate your honest review, I used stinger before it sounds really shitty, so I got arctis 5, didn't like it either and got cloud alpha and it's really good not bass heavy but it's really enough

@@justdeleted5266 do you want to upgrade to hyperx alpha? I would say yes, alpha is way better than stinger, don't expect too much bass but bass is present just not overpowering bass, alpha is really good, sound stage and imaging is good too

@@justdeleted5266 I think yes it's bigger than stinger I think, can't recall exactly but it's too damn comfortable compare to stinger, actually I don't even want to compare alpha to stinger, alpha is next level comfort, my ears are big so it's enough for me, actually I need little bit bigger cups, to fit my ears in completely, I really suggest try alpha, sound and comfort wise it's solid, don't go for cloud 2 if ur not into fake surround sound

@pewdiepie subscribe Sorry about your luck, if it was a manufacture issue you could of done a warranty claim or take it back from where it came. It's been 6 months for me and plus two of my friends have the same headset and well, the headset sounds fantastic and nothing has broken for either of us. I also take care of things that I spend money on.

Giving you a few points. SQ = Its on the neutral/balance sound signature. Connection = Type-C Wired (due to the ESS DAC included) Earcups = Triangular and not suitable for small ears

I've been using the Cloud Flights for 6 months now and only negative thing I can say about it is the build quality. The plastic and shit ton of creaking it does makes it feel like a cheap product. It won't surprise me if they break in a year or two.

Mine just broke today man 😭 Just got myself a pair of HS70 PRO for 100bucks so i guess that works. The flights had a duration of 2 years and 10 days but honestly not entirely the build quality's fault they broke as i slammed them to the ground trying to catch them falling from my head 😂 But a metal hinges would probably have made them more durable. RIP Cloud Flights 17.01.2020-27.01.2022.

The only thing I dislike about mine is the mic. Bad sound and but mustly because I't not removable. Everything else is great, I've had mine for almost 4 years.

I use the Oculus Rift s and when it comes to using headphones, I have no choice but to use the wireless rechargeable ones. I play a lot of VR games that require the player to stand up and walk around.

hyperx cloud stinger core wireless 7.1 gaming it works Xbox Series X?

What do I do because mine can not charge i dont know why

I got rid of my LucidSound 40s and wasn't able to get the top abilities to utilize them as Xbox One does not support usb headset and mic usage. I ended up sending back and getting the Hyper X cloud 2's and save 100 dollars in the process, however still am not able to utilize the 7.1 surround sound because it only works through USB as they work great on my pc. Wish I could utilize the USB port on the Xbox One S, wish they would patch it up. 👍👍👍

Wired headphones can't really be beat. Even audiophile headphones still worth at wired. You only go wireless if you...don't want wired. It's not like mice, where the sensor is improved to actually remove the cons of wireless mice. Headphones are quite hard to get around.

Can you play some music with the headset when testing the mic to see if the sound leaks to the mic? I have this problem with the original cloud stinger and it seems to be a common issue.

blackcat552 I have this problem as well. Although it’s somewhat an issue with my Alphas as well. It’s not BAD, it’s only if I play music very loud that it shows up on the microphone meter thing. I do have an issue with any headphones that I use, that I have to set my mic boost to +20 decibels.

They must've updated something in the stinger wireless cause I'm using it now, wife bought it for me for my birthday, and it doesn't sound muddy or anything, infact I heard the audio difference quite clearly when you did the comparison

Chin Fair ...different headsets all together. The MH752 is basically the Takstar Pro 82 headphone with a incredible microphone attached. The Flights while great aren’t as comfortable nor do they sound as good.

You should test the cooler master mh752. I heard them and they are REALLY nice with nice wide soundstage with nice flat sound response. Also the mic is not bad. Personally i went with my Sennheiser HD650 +dac/amp and the modmic wireless since i want the best... to a reasonable price.

I have flights and stinger wireless and I have definitely chosen the stinger's lately over the flight. I love the sound of the stingers and believe they improved the sound when compared to the wired stingers.
