Absolutely true!
I'd vote for the roo😂 I love that I grew up loving Skippy and now at 57 Im watching my eight year old great nephew loving Skip just as much. Good job again Dr Jones. ☮️
I loved watching skippy as kid in England. We had a few Australian TV shows. Neighbours, Home and Away, and Skippy are the ones that we mostly watched.
I'm surprised skippy never performed open heart surgery.

Love you Ann Jones. I just discovered your videos and aside from being very informative they are highly entertaining, part of that is your hilarious laugh. 2021 - I hope you are still making them or some other videos.

That's very kind Cheryl. Ann has been busy in 2021. Check out this new series 👉 ab.co/2FZBWvI
Next PM of Australia. I lost it.
Lol, I'm glad I saw the part where Dr Ann points out the human hands controlling Skippy's hands before I came to the comments to say that's what I'd guess was happening...
so you just shattered my childhood memories of course Skippy could crack a safe and start a car goddamn it she was just very smart the thing that always alluded me was making a whistle out of the gum leaves i tried to do that for years hahahah thanks another great vid liked and subscribed

The gum leaf whistle is probably the only real thing in the whole series.
Jerboas also move the same way as kangaroos so they aren't the 'only' animals that get around this way.
I've got a gig head and little arms lol 😂 all I can think about is this is the t-rex of today lmao 🤔😳😂🤣😂🤣🤷🤦🤷
Magnificent animals 😊😊😊
If a kangaroo swimming with a Joey in the pouch accidentally drown the Joey ? 🥺😢
They couldn't do worse than our present pollies.
I grew up with Skippy on TV I the UK back in the day, my hubby said when he was little his dad promised he would get him 'a' skippy if they emergrated which was a thing us bits did in the sixties my brother was a £10 prom, but my husbands family decided not to go. Another good video, thanks Ann 😊
We need a colab video between Skippy and Flipper!
Awww.. and I thought skip was so smart.. 😥
Ha! Idk if it's just an American idiom or not but "Hot & bothered" means something else/has little to do with how comfortable the temperature feels when used in the USA lol
Great opening music "Abando" by The Grogans
I have absolutley no idea how you came across my recommendations, but I just binged over 3 hours of your vids. This one about about kangaroos was so incredible and so informative, I have to go watch more tomorrow. You are so fun to watch and learn more from. I have always been facinated with the critters of your country, and, yet, so disgusted what humans have done to the ecosystem over the centuries. But, Australia will prevail!
Can we have a video on Wombats please 🤗
Very interesting! I remember seeing some nature show that stated 'roos were incapable of moving their legs independently. Mind you, that show was probably made 30+ years ago, so there's likely been a good deal of studying since then. Nevertheless, the swimming thing was news to me; thanks very much for the informative programme!
Whaddya mean, kangas can't play Laughing Clowns at Luna Park?! I saw it on Skippy - the best doc series, ever! Boy, they used to get into some trouble. I blame Clancy.
Time to add the viral vid of the 'Sky Diver and Kangaroos'?
2:50 That's not true. Amputees also hop. I know, I am one.
Another beauty Ann👍👍
Dr Ann is super cute ❤ I love these videos.
Could they be the next prime minister of australia?😂😂😂😂
flying fox
This is embarrassing 😂😂😂
Maybe a kangaroo for prime minister wouldn't be a bad thing. I think it kangaroo has more brains then Scott Morrison has
Spent a lot of time travelling in the South Australian outback and I've seen kangaroos keeping up with trucks doing 80 k's no problem. Not sure if the big reds can go faster
Don't Jerboa's also manoeuvre like kangaroo's?
So cool
Love you aunty.
But how deadly?!!!

Hi Louis, check out our first kanga video which answers that question: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lHyiz5Kjo7KbdLw.html&t=
What's the difference between Kangaroos, wallabies and wallaroos?
@ABCScience
4 жыл бұрын
Hi there, the short answer: Differences in genes, teeth, body size, habitat and diet. Kangas are bigger and graze on grass, while wallabies are smaller and have a more mixed diet (including leaves). A wallaroo, which eats grass, sits somewhere between these too. If you see/have any videos of wallaroos and wallabies, send them our way! We’d love to make a video on these lesser-known macropods.
No makup?
N0O
They make a dry sausage, not enough fat content.
I don’t like Kangaroos they are just creepy
