It’s the reason why if a white guy or girl goes to Japan, the natives don’t really care. When a black guy or girl goes to Japan, the natives are literally touching your skin and hair and surprised that you someone like you even exist. Basically every culture in the world has some kind of relationship with white people, especially in the United States where white people are still the majority. They are exposed to it more so they are more comfortable with it and can assimilate to it.

This happened to me. I am black and Latino (black passing) my father is Hispanic and when I was younger i dated and loved Latino men because I loved my dad but once I got older and wanted a family I wanted someone that looked like me and wanted kids that look like me. Now that I'm married to a BM with 3 children I honestly feel like it was great that my life went this way because I just feel more comfortable. My Grandmother gave me this advice when I was in my early 20's. Marry a man who is of the same culture. She said, people from the same culture understand each other better because they have their culture in common. And all the little details that come with it. I'm so sad to see a mindset like that. You can date people with other cultures, it might even enrich yours and vise versa. You can not only learn a lot of things from them, but you can learn that certain differences are fine and healthy in relationships. I'm sure your grandmother was a very lovely person and she meant well but I'm not surprised to hear that from an older generation when everything was segregated. It's time to get past that, and we are getting past that as a society slowly but surely. You are of course attracted to what you are attracted to and if you are only attracted to someone of the same race, I think that's fine. Me personally? I've never had really any issues attracting Hispanic, white or Asian but it's usually the SPECIFIC individuals you encounter. Example; I'm tall, dark skinned, handsome, built like an athlete since i was 15, well dressed etc, but it doesn't change that preferences always existed. lol the factors behind this are way more complicated than just looks. White people are way more conservative than blacks on a whole...white women are more likely to submit to men in general, and have generally more traditional values...fathers still decide women choices to an extent, they are not as materialistic because they are not stuck in survival mode due to life of access and privilege and not experiencing scarcity, there is pressure to marry young etc. As such nature's brutal 80/20 rule is staved off. Black women are ahead on the feminist curve where they prefer total independence. but white women are catching up. White men on average also earn twice as much as black men and are worth 10 times as much money...so they are also more generally appealing off the bat because of that across races.

Again the Europeans did it the best; in life there are winners and loosers, rich and poor and always will be that way. The poor will always put down the rich to feel better about themselves. The loosers are the ones who don't assimilate into the dominant successful culture in regards to language and ethos. Imitate the successful habits( benchmark) of those on too and u can become the same. Look at China, Singapore, Japan, etc when they follow the Western European model of government, they are 1st world countries.

You're not wrong about that. People are naturally willing to date their own race because they typically have the same background and interests. We can't let that discourage us because I always know there are people out there who are willing to date outside their race. Just need to keep being ourselves, be confident, and improve ourselves everyday. I believe it feels the same when a lot of Black Men say they prefer to date White women. We call that “a preference”, but really that sounds like a cover up.

It's 100% true. Seen it from other people and experienced it myself. Many girls would ultimately want a Channing Tatum but will make an exception for the right dude. I believe I recall Kevin Samuels telling guys to become that exceptional guy.
