I've actually noticed that any time an Indian guy is confident, takes care of himself, dresses well, etc, they are VERY attractive. What you are talking about here is very complex and is rooted in the very beginning of homo sapien sapiens. I always thought people were racist when people said Indian people stink. That was until I traveled and lived near them for almost 2 years. It 100% is an earned stereotype 😂. Not just Developed countries. Here in the Philippines, that's also the main stereotype we have about them. I think the main reason is stereotypes and media, I am 5’8 without shoes. I used to very muscular like a pro fighter, I train in Muay Thai. Make a ton of money and my style was in point. Dont know about the west but in other white countries some don’t care that I am Indian, some will like but when they find out that I am Indian they don’t like me anymore. And some will tell me I don’t look Indian when I tell them and they don’t mind, I stay away from the stereotypes, I smell good and I don’t have that stereotypical Indian accent. I have the real Indian accent. When I was in the Slavic region I got a lot of attention. More than I could handle, online aswell. But atleast 40% of them would leave just because I am Indian. To a lot of em I don’t even look Indian, mind you I have a light filter on my picture (in my dp) combined with the lighting it gave me a slight tan my skin tone is like of North Indians. Not brown but also not super pale. Yeah even if she finds me attractive 40% of them will leave and I am talking about white women, my phone is filled with unseen Asian girls messages, and it’s so many of them I can’t even find a text if I don’t read it for too long. Same happens when I’m in Asian countries. With Asian girls, no one disliked my ethnicity except for Koreans. The hate they threw at me was crazy, some women were like that but all the Koreans I’ve ever met are so racist towards me it’s crazy. Some call me a pretty boy and cuss at me (ofc it’s online , real life they wouldn’t survive)

I’m a Mexican American from coastal bend Texas and the Indian people that we’re exposed to and used to are mainly from Malayalam speaking dark South Indian people. HIGHLY educated and some of the most wealthy ethnicity around here by far. And lots of cool ass people I became friends with in high school. Point is, these Indian dudes exuded confidence and were absorbed into the local culture while still maintaining their old culture. Never saw them have any trouble with dating due to being Indian.

Dear Indian Men As a Canadian who has met a lot of Indians in Canada I have 3 pieces of advice to get a Western woman. These are my observations I have made about Indian men in Canada so far. 1. Wash and wear deodorant. Nothing will turn a woman off more than bad hygiene. 2. Put that cell phone down. Stop staring at your phone and engage with people in the room. 3. Don’t travel with groups of men. A huge tendency I see all the time is men travel in packs. Don’t do that. You want to be seen as an individual who is confident without his friends around. Show you can be self confident and can stand on your own two feet, even when you are alone. That is it and good luck. Peace

Number 2 and 3 apply to a lot of brown men, even Middle Eastern, Iranian, Afghans, Pakistanis etc... Number 1 mostly applies to Indians, not sure why dont they clean themselves, it has to do mostly with new comers Indians, Canada has a lot of indian immigrants who came here just 5-10 years ago, In India hygiene is the worst in the world, even worse then most poorest African countries. the second or third generation Indians dont have the smell issue and their accent is perfect western, some of the I have seen with white or western women

Im confused by one thing. My impression was that India is as ethnically varied as Europe. Being of Polish descent I cannot pass myself off as being from Spain, Italy, etc. Maybe I'm missing something, but saying "Indian" as if it's one thing sounds like saying "European". Indian man with white woman is most common interracial pairing in UK. Indian man with Asian woman is most common interracial pairing in Singapore and Hongkong. In US more Indian men date and marry out of their race than indian women.

In my opinion, in order to attract women in India, the man needs to focus on improving his status as much as he can. Which is why men work hard to get engineering degree, become doctor or get a government job. Looks don't help much when compared to status in the country. In West, looks are relatively more important.

I am a Bengali guy who turned 22 just 13 days ago. I am an electronics engineering student living in Bangalore and will be graduating in mid 2023 and then go for MBA. As an Indian Men I feel these few things make Indians not good at facial level 1. Genetics 2. Lack of knowledge (in terms of facial knowledge) 3. Poverty and we don't use too many facial products. We just applying few drops of mustard/coconut oil on our face and hair and we are good to go. 4. We don't pay too much attention to our face on daily basis. 5. As a northeastern all I can say to my fellow Indians is that its the excessive use of mustard oil , onion and garlic in your foods is why you smell. I have been living in Delhi for past 5 years and believe me when I eat fried foods it’s when I start to smell when I sweat. As a northeastern we don’t use oil and onions in our dishes coz it’s mostly boiled food hence low body odour just my opinion.

However being the country that was worst affected by colonization (a reason that is often cited for African countries being so backwards), India was able to rebuild and make some actual progress as compared to most of the African countries. You don't see Indians going gaga over something fictional like Wakanda, do you?

Indian-American here. Advice to my fellow Indian men, take up the gym brothers. I never had any dating life in high school and didn't even lose my virginity until 18 to a girl I simped for and who treated me badly. After the gym I didn't become some playboy, but I had an above average hookup life and have an attractive, nice gf now. Don't listen to the haters who will call you a gymcel, if you are serious about working out and dieting after 2+ years you will stand out in almost any room you walk in and the difference in attention you get from women is shocking. We definitely have an uphill battle to face, but I know a lot of Punjabi guys in my area who have good dating success and they all hit the gym regularly.

As a indian I agree with most points in the conclusion. We do need to work on ourselves, our hygiene, our actions (for eg. not hitting up random girls and asking for bobs and vegana). But I don’t agree with the “work on your accent” thing. Koreans have their own accent in english, Japanese have their accent, asians have their accent, Australians have their accent, europeans have their accent and even americans have their accent. They don’t shy away from their accent. Their accent is a reflection of their culture and roots. Why do you think indians have to change theirs? Just as the rest of the world, us indians also have our own culture, we also have our roots. Just because westerns culture have made their own stereotypes about india and indians doesn’t mean it’s necessarily bad. (I’m talking about accent. Not the actions) Even the indians who want to brighten or whiten their skin is also a byproduct of the west. All of this “dark skin bad” is a colonial culture. British had that mindset and since americans are also technically britishers, its the same mindset there also. If black people are ready to embrace their skin colour and be proud of their skin, then why should Indians work on their complexion to look like something they are not. At the end, if its demanding you to change yourself to a level where you have to look different from your ethnicity cause you being shamed for it then there’s no point in trying to attract that person or that set of people.

cos the indian accent sounds worse than all of the other ones. The other accents bring a sorta flair out, while the indian accent is a lack of enunciation of key parts of words. (i am an indian too and i've noticed this)

@@acethemain7776 That's very subjective bruh. In fact even the Indian accent changes from region to region as well. The northern Indian have a different accent in english. North eastern's have a different accent and south Indians have strong and also a very different Indian accent. As a Indian you might find Indian accent as cringe but a Chinese or a Japanese's would never find their accents cringe or embarrassing. As you pointed out the enunciation and the strong emphasis on some words and their pronunciation is there in indian accent. And every countries accent have those things. You can see that in Japanese pronunciation as well. And talking about a bad sounding accent, have you heard the accents of africans ? I'm not here to dunk on Africans or Japanese or Chinese. I'm simply saying, this is not our native language. Expecting non native speakers to have a clean accent is as good as saying Ronaldo should have a excellent knowledge of wicket keeping like Dhoni. It's not gonna be the same, its never gonna be thee same. Western countries are too delusional to expect that from non native speakers. But don't let them make you hate your own accent, your culture and your ethnicity. No one raises question at a Japanese accent because Japanese made them accept their accent and spoke english on their own terms. Be confident, Be your self. You don't need to put on a fake accent. Just be comfortable in your skin.

Truth hurts. I came to the USA before the IT boom. I was the only Indian in the town. Now 25 percent of the neighborhood is Indian. Americans are very acceptable and lovely people. Never had a problem with getting accepted even in exclusive clubs and resorts. I have travelled a lot and its the same except in some pockets of the country. The recent immigrants need lessons in hygiene and bad habits. Both are horrible. Some adapt quicker and are successful. Others are in denial. Edited - The comments below are full of excuses including mainly color. I came here in high school. So, have seen and experienced more than most immigrants. I know quite a few girls who date only ethnic boys or men. An example, A dark five foot Nepali guy had a white girlfriend. He ended up marrying a white girl about a foot taller than him. Though he was not good looking, he dressed well and kept good hygiene. Two neighbors across the street are mixed and an Indian has a white wife. Though frowned upon, I see many white girls with black males. Why? They are athletic and well groomed and at least pretend how to treat women nicely. I even interviewed a couple of girls from the South and it has nothing to do with racism. On a side note, even black women are disgusted by Indians' odor and would not date them. Americans hate odor and dirty appearance. So, the color is not always the issue. It comes down to habits, manners, health and culture. I have traveled a lot and lived mostly amongst whites back in the day. Never had an issue.

You should do a video for looksmaxxing for indians. The issue is that Indian culture has different beauty standards compared to most of the western world. They are obsessed with white skin, and put that as their top priority for beauty. A lot of indians also suffer from being either too skinny, skinny fat, or too fat from an Indian diet that consist mainly of carbs and sugar. The heavy accent doesn't help either. Another issue is that there was a generation of indians (mainly our parents) that liked round faces, you can see this in an old Bollywood films, they thought strong masculine hollow cheeks and strong jaw made you look like a hungry beggar on the streets. That all changed later in Bollywood, now you have actors like Hrithik Roshan with a shredded physique on screen. The newer generations are into dating where as previously most of our parents and grandparents got arranged marriages, and males were sought after more in terms of education, career, and wealth. Here is the problem, and a lot of young indians struggle because they don't know what to do. I myself avoid Indian girls and prefer west indians from Guyana, Trinidad, because I find them a lot hotter, taller, and slimmer compared to indians.

God how tf did I end up in this part of KZread? I would feel a bit bigoted to feel proud to push myself hard in life to become a researcher and contribute to science and tech (thanks to my Indian upbringing). And apparently in a healthy relationship with a white person simply because neither of us are so empty and value partnership and confidence over stereotypes and physical parameters. 6:53 It's really weird, white people tend to darken their skins with all kinds of spray tans, and tanning beds, and its considered "exotic". While Indians tend to use all kinds of skin whiteners and foundations to lighten their skin....The irony. I've always had the mindset that I'm a literal walking tan, and I love it. I personally prefer darker skinned girls, that pale as a ghost aesthetic is haunting like a ghost.

Skin whiteners in India are basically skin cleansers that repair and limit the damage from a hot, tropical sun with a higher UV gradient.. basically get the skin back to where it was before sun exposure and damage..

6:55 all indians are not dark skinned. Some are white as caucasian (in hilly states), some are fair skinned (most of North Indians) , some are brown(mostly south indians and north indian also) Skin fairness cream is like tanning your body in west. Did tanning your body makes you racist?

Mainstream Indians are Caucasoids at the highest levels.. and India is one of those countries with significant genetic and ethnic diversity.. Indian only a nationality, not a racial identity..

Indians are typically a lot darker and more beautiful than white people overall though. I can see tanning. But why would you remove melanin when it is what gives you your beauty, protects from skin cancer and keeps skin young??

Blacks talking about Indian food stinking hahahahaha. I've lived with an African roommate. The guy used to eat partially cooked boiled meat without any spices and stuff and the room used to stink like crazyyyyy Also, black Africans have a very specific extremely strong body smell which I could never understand.
