The TRUTH About FOREX - Halal or Haram🤔

The TRUTH About FOREX - Halal or Haram🤔
So many brothers and sisters have got involved with forex because it gets promoted as 'easy money' and 'get rich quick' but the reality is very, very different! Most take 'fatwas' from dodgy characters and get tricked into indulging in an unethical industry which is HARAM! In this video The Muslim Investor breaks down exactly everything wrong with forex
Also on a side note one thing I failed to mention is how everyone promotes it as a multi TRILLION $$ industry but how many actually openly tell you the retail forex market makes up just 5% of that?
And if you didn't know, end of the day when doing FOREX you are trading in FIAT currencies looking to profit. Fiat money is entirely 100% haram. It is backed by nothing but RIBA, DEBT, and TERRORISM
Trying to profit from this industry as a Muslim is unethical at best, haram at worst
Avoid the bs gurus (and misguided/uneducated scholars) who try call it halal without fully exploring and understanding it from a deeper level

the leverage provided is not a physical exchange of money or a traditional loan. It's based purely on a contractual agreement that allows you to enter into positions much larger than your initial cash outlay (margin). This contract gives you control over an asset without actually owning it upfront. In Islamic finance, transactions that involve excessive uncertainty ("gharar") or gambling ("maysir") are prohibited. Trading in derivatives, like futures, where the ownership of the underlying asset is not transferred at the time of the contract, can be seen as problematic from an Islamic finance perspective. This is because it involves trading in contracts for assets not currently in possession, which some Islamic scholars argue violates the principles of immediate exchange in transactions.

Assalam o Alikum. I have an question, if we do spot trading using no leverage and being as less speculative as possible and paying no fees to the broker. (Broker requires no fees, only he wants us to use his platform.) Will it still be considered haram? Please clarify. With detail than you

    1. excessively risky if u MAKE IT that way, with the correct strategy, risk management, good trading psychology then what is there to worry about? Especially with funded accounts you avoid any haram matters entirely.
