Ameen! Jazakallah khair for your kind words 🙏🏼
جزاك الله خيرا I was looking for this brother and wondered what have happened to him after his viral video and feel now very happy that he's oke and still have same kind and funny spirit despite all difficulties he had after conversion. I enjoyed his inspiration about his hajj, although I'm a born Muslim I learned something new from him. May Allah bless him and his family, my pray (doua) is for those people who he still cares about that Allah will guide them to the right path and make him happier. Thanks to you guys to bring him back, I will subscribe to your channel (will be #6 besides your family members 😁)
I dont know if Reuben will be reading this. I was born in a Muslim family and a born Muslim too. I took my life my religion for granted, started drinking at an early age (astagfirullah). When I was growing up, I use to feel like the whole world was revolving around me and I was the center of everything. I was always away from Islam and the Quran, its not like my parents didn't care. Its just that they were not there. I can understand today as why it was the way it was, as my father was living abroad so that we can get food to eat and mum was in horrible situation. As I had crossed my teen days and after my first divorce. I use to study science and watch a lot of astronomy videos online. I started calling myself a smart az, as I understood things in the sky better. One day whole scrolling through youtube video's I had came across videos on youtube where it showed astronomy and Quran together. It showed early Muslim Astronomers, etc. I barely remember anything from my school books, but I still remember watching images of Planet Neptune for the first time and also remember my classmates talking how things orbit (I think I was 9 or 10 at that time). That video struck me and I started to watch few islamic video's after that. While researching more and more before the algorithm days existed, I had accidentally come across your video, i told myself that a white guy from a foreign land is accepting islam after researching / reading and me who is a born muslim is not. So Slowly I started to become agnostic from atheist. It was allah who was guiding me 1 step at a time. To be honest I had difficult times while I was growing. I can relate to when you said that people go close to intoxication for short relief and that is what use to happen to me. I use to drink, but hardly got drunk in 20 years of drinking life. As I was getting close to year 2020, I knew I need to get a muslim wife this time and I need to change my life and get things straight. After plenty of times being rejected by everyone left and right, finally someone said yes to me without asking any question. My wife has been my mentor since then, bringing me close to islam day by day. Alhamdullilah! My mum passed away on 28 March 2023, I was broken and still recovering. But since that day I understood what life is, the most important moment in life is when we will be laid down in the grave. I do not blame my parents and have no complaints. What they did was best as per their ability. I know they werent perfect parents, but neither was I a perfect son. But after my knowledge and wisdom, I am happy to return home and not astary anymore. I am happy to be close to Allah. I still commit mistakes, but now I ask for forgiveness. I can't tell you how much your video has impacted me in my life! Your video brings me tears and joy in my life. I was chosen by Allah to be a born muslim and now I know why. I am so fortunate and blessed. Thank you once again! I tried my best to keep everything short here. Let us each exchange prayers for our family members and also pray for the entire Brotherhood. ✊ ~Your Muslim brother~ 🙂

You won’t regret it!!
Ma sha Allah. I may have subconsciously wondered once or twice as to where this brother is now n if v could catch up with him. Jazaak Allah khair for arranging that.
Gents thoroughly enjoyed the podcast, inshallah it grows more and more. I generally listen to it in the car on my commute to work. I have found your talking audio is much softer than the “BooomFaaaaaiiiirrrdunkum” at the start. So I always get caught out and it blasts my speakers big time. Just some feedback for when you edit the video and see if there is a way to align the audios. Jazakallah kheir.
Thank you so much for this video. It was very beneficial. Keep up the Great Work! Much appreciated!
