There were no Annunaki. Taking The Enuma Elish literally is as stupid as taking Genesis literally. These stories are myths, made up to explain their world by people who had virtually no scientific knowledge. The Polynesian people believed their world moved through the ocean on the back of a giant turtle. Do you believe that? Supposedly the turtle lived on the back of another turtle, who lived on the back of another turtle. These people believed the Earth was flat, covered by a firmament full of holes to let the rainfall in. They believed the sun revolved around the Earth. We have hominid fossils dating back to millions of years.

NASA sends satellites to other celestial bodies, and they start an exceedingly elliptical orbit, which eventually settles down into a circular orbit. If Nibiru is in on elliptical orbit, why has it not also settled into a more circular orbit? This is a valid question that should be addressed when assessing this theory, the presence or absence of said planet

Good question , but there's a huge difference between a satellite and a planet . One planet can't change without affecting all of the planets rotation. Valid answer ??

It is probably the eccentricity and length of its orbit! The difference in mass also contributes! Why do comets maintain cometary orbits and NOT settle into circular orbits! Why does our moon not have a circular orbit? Take up orbital mechanics and you won't be asking this particular question again.

There are two theories that resemble each other, but one is the Anunnaki, and the other is survivors of the flood. I am of the opinion that both Sitchin and Graham Hancock were BOTH CORRECT!

Sitchin could not even read cuneiform. I like Hancock but none of his theories hold up under actual scientific evidence. There is no Nibiru. There were no annunaki or Nephilim. Both the Enuma Elish and Genesis are myths, just as the Japanese myth of Amateresu and her brother and husband Tsukoyomi are myths. Isis and Osiris are myths. Try reading Mircea Eliade’s book, Cosmos and History, the Myth of the Eternal Return or Joseph Campbell’s Hero With a Thousand Faces. Mythology and ancient history are fascinating. You don’t need nonsense like Sitchin or Hancock. We are not clones created by aliens. We are Homo Sapiens Sapiens. We evolved from very ancient apes. Hominids date back as much as 7 million years. Modern man appeared around 300,000 years ago. We know these things.

@@nbenefiel Well....I guess we disagree! I have read Greek mythology, Norse mythology, Roman mythology and Sumerian mythology. I am of the opinion that these mythologies describe the same events. The differences that I perceive can be attributed to different languages and therefore slightly different perspectives and ways of describing events. I have not read nor have I heard of the people that you mention......I think. I'm not completely certain. I can understand doubting Sitchin, but Hancock, specifically in; "Fingerprints of the God's" presents an excellent argument! Again. I disagree with you!

There was never a flood that covered the entire world, leaving only one family and two of each species of animal alive. The idea is ridiculous. In order to avoid extinction, there needs to be a minimum of 500 breeding pairs. Who the heck did Noah’s grandkids marry? If they married their first cousins, we’d all look like the Hapsburgs.

It’s impossible for a massive flood to cover the earth, wipe out all but two of each kind of animal and all but one family of people and not leave a single bit of evidence in the geological record. Certainly, at the end of the ice age, as the glaciers melted and the oceans rose, there was flooding, especially in coastal areas and low lying land, like Doggerland, but there is simply no evidence of a world wide flood. BTW, where did Noah get Polar Bears?

Really? Those, 'in the know' don't want you to know. There are a couple of reasons. The main one is power! Another is economic......again power! If we become knowledgeable of the actual truth, the economic impact would destroy the energy industry! A power source that can make space-travel routine would essentially make trying to 'sell' such energy virtually impossible and the power that energy companies have over the consumer would evaporate!
