Continue on with the rest of this famous classic Greek saga. Hope you do The Odyssey one day too. The way do this is very informative with nice comic art.
Words are not enough how beautiful the way you tell the most ancient epic story. I really am thankful to you for this video. I've read Homer's "Iliad" but not the backstories of characters. Watching this video makes me excited to read more about the backstories. Hats off, dear.

I watched this video from beginning till the end. I felt like it finished in 5 minutes. It was so good. Wow. So inspiring. Please do a sequel soon. I can't wait.
I'm looking forward to season 2. I hope you work on the aftermath of the Trojan war too. (AKA the Odyssey, The Aeneid and the fates of the other Greek kings who either drowned or were banished or murdered)
Can’t wait for the next one. Loving the comic illustrations that follow this timeless tale.

Hi
Cassandra was a virtuous lady... She didn't want to be some cast off sidepiece... She was most likely saving herself for a loving, respectful, respectable marriage... She didn't cause the Trojan War. The goddess of discord did when she threw the 🍎 of Discord amongst Hera, Athena, & Aphrodite... Also Paris did with his fickle judgment & his overwhelming lust for Helen of Sparta (later known as Helen of Troy)... Helen played a role as well when she willingly engaged in an extramarital affair with Paris then accompanied him to Troy. Cassandra was upright & innocent. I actually admire her...

Hi
This is a masterpiece...
This is fantastic!
It's a great videos. I learned a lot. I really love listening "Greek Mythology". :)
How many seasons are you going to do? It would be great if you could do a season for every year of the war, and then of Odyssey. And I know for those if us who love Rome the Aeneid. I know it takes awhile for the drawings and scripts to be made but I can say I will watch for any new chapters that you put out.
This brought me to tears 😢
Love this guys keep it up
Thank you so very much. I'm writing a play based on the works of Geoffrey Chaucer's Troilus and Criseyda. But theres a lot of information missing (and some misinformation too) and the research done from the Iliad to il filostrato creates even more confusion. This aids me fill some gaps and information that I could not found. The history of how things ended like this is of immense importance. Also Troilus is mentioned only once in the Iliad and that's after he is dead. I'm looking forward to the second part. Cheers.

I seriously would love to know where to find the music you use for these videos. They're really good.
thank you! you made my boring lessons into something excited!
the music choices are great
I remember my Dad's friend from work who was Greek we would go over to their house have the delicious food with the most amazing scents I have a wonderful memory of. My Dad had gone to Bible University and was still at that time going through the different ways of understanding the nuances in the written WORD. I remember telling my Dad how a person on You Tube talked about the myths being as real as the ones we tell now. And he agreed saying that the people we went over to really be blessed by the Grecian food and friends had as much told Dad. He knew that to them it was so, there would be no argument.
This is a really good channel.
Put the complete story We are glad to see another Greek epic
Great video!! Wanna see season2 !!
This music is brilliant!
I also love the little easter eggs paying homage to the 2004 movie Troy. If you pay attention, the armor, hair, accessories and appearances look similar to the characters from the movie. Albeit far more accurate to the source material.
Wow! I have only.seen season 1 and already I can say this is the best story of the Trojan war I have seen. It makes much more sense than the other movies and stories I have seen. The motivations of the people involved are much more understandable. Priam's sister having been abducted makes his acceptance of Paris's actions much more believable.
Great art!
This was amazing
This was awesome!
Got interested in learning about this while reading "The song of Achilles" because I couldn't understand many of the references. Seems like the interpretation of the relationship between Patroclus & Achilles is different here. Well, either way, a very interesting story. Mythologies tend to have thousands of different interpretations & it's fun to learn about all the different ones.
You have done a very good job. It would be interesting to think of what myths might connote or symbolise so beautifully. Paris's choice may have to do with the choices of kings and princes at that time: to rule wisely, to rule by conquering other lands for resources and trade or to rule by marauding and plundering other places for treasure and women. The apple symbolises knowledge and deciding as in the bible. Abducting women, it seems, was a prime target of marauders. Actually, Illiad begins with the wrath of Achilles, when he had to give up Briseis - the woman he abducted, to Agamemnon, who had to return Chryseis - the woman he abducted to her father (a priest of Apollo) in order abate the wrath of Apollo.
Achilles story reads like a hilarious D&D campaign. Roll for deception!
Thanks!
I read the song of Achilles and i cried for days
Wonderful presentation and narration. Thank you!
This is amazing. Thank you so much!
How did you make this character and where did you created the images... please explain in a video
Can you do a video about megalodon or behemoth?
Thanks
If there is a lesson to learn from Prophecy in Ancient Greek Tales is that the harder you try to prevent them from happening, the more likely they are to come to pass.
Thanks, I enjoyed the video. A lot more to it than I knew.
Make more episodes of saga please
When are you doing season 2 of the Trojan war it has been months now.

If Paris was sensible, he would have picked Athena. Think about it. She would have made Paris a wise, powerful, courageous and well respected general and with Oenone- a nymph with healing powers by his side he would have been unbeatable, Troy would have remained a vibrant and protected city and he could have been promoted to a god. But nope! He'd rather go have at it with Helen! 🙄 I would've been a bit more lenient if Helen was in an abusive and unhappy relationship and if Paris couldn't get a wife. . .
