The look of horror on Coogan's face at the end is brilliant.

I've watched this episode two dozen times and this scene is still the best in the whole series.

I’m currently sat in the bar area of HG. No sign of Coogan though!

They made up a charcter called Holbeck Ghyll, whos name is taken from a place in Windermere I believe.

They are competing to try and claim the joke. Steve keeps cutting in on rob so rob takes it to a dark place and brutally takes ownership of the bit. Steve lets him take it but acts like rob has said something inappropriate, theres more to it but it's all idiosyncratic.

They are eating at a restaurant called Holbeck Ghyll. And in this conversation they create a character called Holbeck Ghyll who seems to be an old character actor, who is acting as a spokesperson for a product. Kind of like Troy McClure
