Thank you for this clear and amazing lesson. I’m being gifted a Classical Guitar for Christmas this year from my partner. This was one of the first songs I got right , it does sound harder than it actually is, but it is basic chords at the end of the day. I personally found that accentuating the base line helps keep the rhythm.

Btw, the Am with your 1st finger off is an Amsus2

I quite like this, nice job matey. You seem to have a similar way of getting your head around fingerstyle pieces, as I do. Big fan of Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Jim Croce, Nick Drake, etc and some of their stuff seems impossible when you try to learn it as it's 'meant' to be learned. But like the way you teach and understand music, it can be learned in a different way and the end results are identical to the original.

the picking in the verses doesn't have to be exact..A long as you're picking the correct chords 'in time' it'll sound fine.

Nothing flash; mid priced nylon strings, high tension.

Page 1 of Jolene, the intro riff does not alternate between A and D string in the third and 4th measures. Is that correct. Great video
