The Tribal Women Who Tattoo Their Faces (in Pakistan)

→ Join me for daily adventures on Instagram: / evazubeck
At the beginning of March, I travelled once again to Pakistan - the country that's eternally embedded into my story, since I spent a very transformative year there when I started travelling and filmmaking.
This time, I want you to meet some truly remarkable people protecting an ancient tradition: the women of the Kachi Koli community, who ink tattoos into their faces, necks, hands and arms. This would be quite the statement in any country, but in Muslim-majority Pakistan, it's a truly one-of-a-kind culture.

They like your tattoos. For them is was an experience, an opportunity of not only sharing cultures, but experiencing. Your tattoos may not have the same meaning as theirs, but they see tattoos in another light now.

The Pakistani village is very, very similar to the India 🇮🇳 villages. I absolutely love the village and that fresh air that the guide talks about; I can just smell it❗️ SUPERIOR video. I would LOVE to go to the same village anyday....I would dress like them the whole time. These outfits are not boring at all❗️ They're amazing 👏 ❗️Thanks again for the 📹 video🎥 ❗️
