To be fair the quality of TOS players has been decreasing since TOS 2 released and then more when it became free to play

that Baker being so salty but so bad at the game fuels my funny bone

commentary was very in depth. could have closed my eyes and known exactly how the first game went.

I had more success acting TI as Jester than being an actual TI, so I can confirm Pipe's last sentence.

I was once a jest and faked LO and actually got it right by saying x went to the player that was killed and actually got it right, got it right again by claiming to see someone on another player who *did* actually visit them.. I caused so much mayhem towards the end and got so many people hung for saying they were CK or apoc

Trapper is potentially insanely powerful, however only if used as TI. You can confirm all visiting roles at once or force an evil to sacrifice themselves. The issue is that it requires strong coordination or a crus/soc to protect the trapper. If you combine trapper with LO then you can essentially confirm all visiting roles in all any.

Trapper is by far the most fun Town Protective to play

Technically the player can disconnect his monitor, keyboard and mouse and still be in the game

@@eclipsemoonishere That's less a quirk of the game and more just how computers function. The computer is still running even with all those devices removed, it's just that there's no way to see or interact with the software anymore.

Sometimes he cuts out people on the stands because they say awful things that get passed the language filter. Instead of blurring it, it’s much easier to cut out.

I know leavers has been an issue in ToS1 as well, but I've noticed in basically every game you upload there's one insta leaver. They should really increase the punishment for leaving the game so soon.

There's a common glitch going around that BMG aren't fixing where a player is stuck staring at the lobby screen forcing the player to either back out/alt + f4, but some players do just instantly leave because they don't want to be their role

That glitch still exists? ToS 1 had a glitch where you would be stuck on name selection but could see chat

So I know "Jester is the best Town Investigator" has become a meme the last few weeks, but why? Jesters often make random TI claims and hope to be wrong enough to get lynched, and evils are more inclined to inno a random sus claim just to waste Town's time. Is there something to this I'm missing?

Jester's intuition would be greatly enhanced. Anything they say will correct most of the time(theoretically all the time or aka 100%).

Pipe even has a game where iirc a Jester faked Seer and found 3 Evils, Coven included, through complete random guesses and basically carried the game for town, people didn't even suspect him at all because of how accurate he was.

Pipe I have a question, I know you did a video going over how all the new role changes work but I wonder if you could do one about how RETRAINING effects investigative roles. Particularly Coroner. I recently had a game where a Necromancer was Retrained into a POIS and I genuinely don't know if I would have been able to find this NECRO/POIS if hadn't examined a new Body and picked up POIS. Re-training seems like an easy way to fool Town Invest roles like Coroner who are already pretty useless 50% of the time.

Coroner always finds the CK regardless if they're retrained, it happened to me once as CL, I retrained myself to hex master and the coroner found me as the killer still, coroner hard counters coven leaders retraining mechanic

Is it just me or does pipe seem to be getting alot angrier recently. Feel free to take a break if u think playing TOS every day is a bit too much

i just had my last ever game on tos1. so i got ga sk target amne remembers arso there was a 2nd natural arso. mayor reveals. guess what sk won also sk attacked the amne arso making me do a protect and SAVING THEM

I think when it comes to disconnected players and pirates, the automatic choice picked for that player should be random instead of always sidestep so pirates are forced to be more involved in the gameplay
