The TRAGIC Life and LOSS Of Princess Beatrice of Battenberg

Beatrice was the youngest child of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and is often the case with the last child born into a family, they are treated as the baby.
This did not stop her being subjected to her mothers judgement of her children and her domineering behaviour to all she could control. Her life as a princess was no fairy tale, and as many of queen victoria's children and grandchildren she suffered greatly throughout her life.

Well, they weren’t all adults when Albert died. But Victoria did lean on poor Beatrice WAY way too much. All of them who were still at home suffered, but since she was only 4….she got to mourn with her mother the longest.

The more your informative videos speak of Queen Victoria the more I dislike her, well as a mother specifically. Princess Beatrice had no idea what happens on one's wedding night? Didn't her mother, siblings or friends inform her? I find it hard to believe! Losing both her husband and son while fighting wars is tragic. I wonder if anyone knows who the last royal was who died fighting? I know Prince Andrew and Harry were involved in wars but they made it back home

Most if not all her siblings were far away from her growing up (and i doubt her brother who was still around did much to any to interact with her. Nobody knows if she ever was ever close to Alexandra) already married and gone from her life. I know people IRL who are way to innocent at her own age... So i could easily see her being innocent.

Queen Victoria was an unsuccessful Mother because she had a TERRIBLE childhood. Nobody taught her how to be a full-time Monarch AND be a Mother. She was totally unprepared for adulthood OR Motherhood. Things have changed thank goodness. Fortunate for GEORGE, CHARLOTTE AND LOUIS.

These people some weirdos, Victoria was a cold woman who seemed to have some mental issues and jealousy seems to run in that family with this whole obsession with not being what they perceive as someone upstaging them no matter, marrying into royalty may be privelege and perks but it ain’t no fairytale and can drive you mad at least when it comes to the British royal family

You’re a little too heavy handed when it comes to Queen Victoria, applying modern standards to Victorian era mores. Why infuse this with your personal prejudices. Victoria didn’t do anything differently than other monarch queens before her and compared to Queen Charlotte, who kept almost all of her daughters at home Victoria was not nearly as possessive. Beatrice was the great destroyer by censoring her mothers journals. It was pretty unfortunate.
