The Toyota Tacoma KILLER! 2024 Nissan Frontier Pro4X

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Let me introduce to you… the 2024 Toyota Tacoma killer! 2024 Nissan Frontier Pro4X. The Frontier checks nearly every box that Toyota enthusiasts have come to expect. It offers a reliable 3.8L naturally aspirated V6 (well tested over the last 4-5 years)… a simplistic interior, great off roading prowess and most importantly, a realistic price tag. Pricing of the Frontier is so much more appropriate compared to the 2024 Toyota Tacoma. At $45K, it feels like you’re actually getting your money’s worth. Better bang for your buck. The Toyota Tacoma mid-tier trims come in around $50K average… and the top trim TRD Pro and Trailhunter coming in at $65K+… that blows my mind. This Frontier PRO4X is technically the top trim of the Frontier too, so you tell me, is that Tacoma TRD Pro and Trailhunter worth over 20K more? Well, $25K more after Nissan discounts the Frontier 10-15% off MSRP?
Let me know your honest thoughts between the Nissan Frontier and Toyota Tacoma. Or even the domestic options like the Ford Ranger Raptor, Chevy Colorado ZR2, GMC Canyon AT4X, etc… which is your top pick and why? Which do you think is the best bang for your buck now days? The overpriced Mexico-built Tacoma certainly ain’t it.
Thanks for watching as always! Please consider Liking and Subscribing if you found any value in this content. Thank you!

I purchased a 2024 Pro 4x about two weeks ago. Loaded all the packages including leather and sunroof etc. OTD almost 46 k. Truck is built like a tank. Drives like a solid truck. Simple. Long story short. Retiring in about two years and have driven company truck F350 for 36 years. Wanted a Toyota 4 runner and bought one last year 2023 off road premium. Had it a year and realized I can never do what I have to do with an SUV so I traded 4 runner for Frontier. Couldn’t be happier. 4 Runner is a great great truck but needed the open bed of a truck. This frontier rides similar to 4 runner but smoother and a little quicker. Nissan switch gear a little cheaper but all else is on par with 4 Runner. The leather is very nice and mpg is better. It is a little tank and I am very happy with the switch.

I commute 120 miles a day on the highway when I have to go into work, and I have best mpg at 26.3 and it’s been around 22-23mpg consistently on the highway. Video nails it, simplicity at its best. Just brought home a 2024 King Cab, 6ft bed, SV trim, and of coarse the V6. $36,120.00 + tax, lic, doc, destination. Just about 40K OTD. Love the truck and the power. I prefer the longer bed vs passenger space so the King Cab works for me. The only negative was the speakers in the dash. They sounded a little flat so I replaced them myself with a set of Pioneer speakers. Much better sound now. I keep reading or hearing that the truck is simple but I disagree. It has all the latest technology such as push to start, collision sensors, pretty nice display screen with wifi, bluetooth and phone sync, usb ports. I was waiting for the Toyota but really disappointed that it only came with a 4 banger and they removed the suicide doors on their king cab WTF? Let's not forget the price as well. Very happy with the Nissan.

Those in the know have had eyes on the Frontier for years. Somehow Toyota became the overrated popular cheerleader while lacking substance such as solid boxed frames that don't rot out and power from the thirsty V6, or a decent seating posture, while Nissan was the quiet and diligent girl next door.

Got my Pro4XD in May'24 after looking for 6 months at alternatives. Hands down a better truck across all vendors. ( Had been a Ford owner since 1984). Suggestion: Buy the top Convenience Package ($2100). You cannot purchase the bed rail tie down tracks to install yourself. The hitch receiver and 4-pin/7-pin tow harness are on a national backorder. The bed electrical lighting and 110V cannot be easily added b/c the harness is installed during assembly for these. I have even checked with 3rd party outfitters, like Z1. So ... Buy the biggest package you need. I got 3.9% financing and a hefty chunk off of the MSRP. ... Tactical Green was choice #2-- I took the tan Baja Storm. It almost matches my gold F250, which I kept.
