What if he plays this opening, because his opponent thinks that he would play a weird variation, And prepares for all the weird variaton, But his oppenent isn't actually prepped for this, So then he thinks that his enemy would think but then he actually goes back to square one.

always usually... great comment
never move your queen until you've developed your bishops and knights. D4 is the best opener
*Intercontinental Ballistic Missile*
The knight move is the Reti opening. I like to play it cause of its flexibility, and on the black side I can play the Ross gambit.
They summoned the audience by putting Bobby Fischer on the thumbnail
Bishop and Queen will get a good check.

What after H4, get the rook going or g3?
@areebaftab5778

I usually let the rook go; rook h3 then rook e3 this some times work and sometimes not (T&C) apply xD
@danielyuan9862
Жыл бұрын
@@areebaftab5778 Wtf is the rook doing on e3? It only effectively controls squares from one direction (forward), unlike bishops, which can control in two directions. And rooks are much better in the endgame (why it's worth 5 points), so you won't want to trade it off for a minor piece in the middlegame. Not to mention that because it's worth more than a minor piece, it's easy to be attacked and you have to spend tempi to move it.
@areebaftab5778
Жыл бұрын
@@danielyuan9862 That's the reason dude, it controls the line directed towards enemies king and - and if he has moved the Kings pawn then its directly is pinned, I usually develop bishops after that. Rooks are better at endgame but I was trying some weird things 🤪, well you are right it's easy to get attacked but I encounter both win and loose with this, I guess everything is fine till you enjoying the game 😁

There is also c4 and g3 as very playable openings. e3 and c3 are theoretically playable, but very difficult
Yet stock fish rates these moves a 0.01
when I first started playing chess last week, I always did the e4 opening without any prior knowledge of it being a solid move, glad to know now.
Queens gambit is the best opening D4 C4 If takes, E4 If not, then develop your bishops and knights and go E5 then castle and move your queen and you'll have a great position! This isn't coming from a 900, its coming from a 1933 whos peak elo was 2087

@@gifflube2783 the main line of accepted is actually knight f3, so I’m really questioning the legitimacy of this person’s claims.
3rd opening is 1.c4 its explosive according to Ben
When you move your knight as the opening, its called Retí
I can't believe the only opening I played before learning how to play chess, properly, was viable (knight F3) Don't get me wrong, my strategy was absolute hot garbage, basically it was to just move the knight, and *hope* I could get my opponents queen or rook, or as many pieces I could take before doing the same thing with my other knight and then cleaning the game of. So, hope chess
I used this all three moves girstly without watch any chess tricks at that time. 😎
Everyone gansta untill black tries intercontinental ballistic missile after queen's gambit
I just threw this out the window and played the English
Hey its the guy from the 502 error screen
“Minor piece”
Me, who is brand new: what next?
C4 for me bro.
Like your shorts, making chess shorts myself. Keep em coming!
a4 to assert dominance
This is very helpful and i only have one month to practice chess thanks for the tips
More lessons!
All this time, I've been starting with Grob's Attack 😭
C4 crying in corner xd
For a long time I was an e4 guy, but the last few months I’ve been doing the Réti opening Nf3. Underrated, I’ve been having massive success on centre control with it.
Very helpful video, thank you!
Pawn c4 really helps me
My favorite is the Reti move Nf3 and it is best to transpose to a D4 opening because it sort of somehow give the opponent a psychological impact on them.
Number 3 is the best move because after number 3 you play e4 and the next move you castle (maybe with check)
I see you guys forgot the classic opening of sending a nuke to the other side to kill the king rather than wasting time with all this pawn, knight and queen nonsense
For me when you open at the Queens side the Al gonna say YOUR NOTHING WITHOUT YOUR QUEEN
We all know the best moves but what about the worst moves
My favorite is B3
Bruh pawn h4 FTW and you can't convince me otherwise
i personally enjoy the bongcloud opening and the king’s fianchetto
I am a beginner and I usually prefer London move
the knight one helps you get the enemy pawns out and more then use a pawn to move across the chess board. If this doesn't work then use the pawn to move and make the rook escape which makes it easier to win.
i like the reti opening
My favourite are h5 g5 a5 b5 and queen's gambit
Nf3 d4 is my typical opening
Nf3 also blocks fools mate
He can bishop instead of queen to avoid stalemate
Ngl I was expecting number 3 to be c4
Retí is god
Le me with the nimzo-larsen attack all the time 😂
bro i always start with horse
the third one is just the Reti opening
My top go-to move is to insert a wireless device up my cavity to face any pogchamp, Magnus included
g3 grob doesn't have mercy
First day of chess kindergarten
This is a good video. Accomplishes everything it intends to do
I like go to king pawn king knight and bb5, retreat if they attack the bishop and if they don’t I castle
My fav opening is just e4,d4 develop both knights
No c4 love :(
E4 E5 Ke2
Hippo- Hold my beer
The sky is blue
I never used the first one, but always used the other 2. Didn't know they were so popular
d4 opens up the king's left diagonal, making Qa5+ appetizing without something like c3 to block it.
Me doing kadás 👀
I like g2 and b2 to get the bishops out of the way and for it to defend the center
I love d4 then the legendary move Bf4
I release the knight pawn first because my plan means to even the battlefield by losing pawns and killing their important pieces then defeating the king with my powerful pieces
i use 3 one nearly exclusively
fun fact: after analyzing with stockfish for 3 hours straight, the best first move is e4.
Reti opening always
Thank you for this video i learn a new moves
I like Knight F3 and then d4
Horse- Rete opening
Reti opening is my fave Opening
Am i the only maniac who loves b3 and g3
Fischer considered 1.e4 as a very strong move and 1.d4 as a weak/inferior first move!
For me it’s e4 king’s pawn because the sicilian defence is the best opening move for me so yeah
thanks for that lesson
Am i the only one who used to push their rook pawns first?
B4 is best first move
I always go for d4 because my favorite opening is the london system or if you prefer the pyramid opening
me going chess tournament
I like A4 or h4 because it helps rook to get out
I like the Botez gambit:Bongcloud variation
nothing beats g4, g5 then f4 (Coca Cola Gambit)
c4 have the surprise factor
I misread that as "worst moves" in chess and was highly confused. I always tried to keep my king as surrounded as possible os always avoided moving the lawns around it.
c4 is a move...
"The 3rd best first move is to move the knight to f3" Me who always did that and didn't know it's on the 3rd place : 👁👄👁

For me I like to play Nf3 in tournaments due to it's flexibility and because it is a very flexible choice I think deserves more credit as an opening not just based on perfect play or piece activity but adaptability.
