I think the most evil vehicle was the forkloader that put KITT into the acid pit.

I agree. I think KITT being dumped into the acid pit was the worst that happened to KITT. He was completely destroyed in that episode. I would say that was the worst thing that happened to KITT. The Juggernaut was probably the second worst thing to happen to KITT.

9:26 - The 83-86 T-Bird was single generation, but the ones featured in KOTD were 83 Heritage models. The Heritage model had more upscale trim than the base model. After the 83 model year it was renamed the elan. If you look closely when the drone car picks up CJ from jail, the 1/4 glass has the word "Heritage" etched into it. Also, specific to 83 Heritage was the roof side Birds were replaced with a square light up emblem. The drone cars have these light up emblems.

I still fear that Goliath could have ultimately destroyed KITT. I think the only thing that stopped that from happening was that Garthe was a big moron.

If I would compare this to Transformers, Goliath would be Megatron: absolutely sinister. The Juggernaut would be Galvatron: just complete bat crazy, in need of a mental intervention.

I loved KARR from KITT vs KARR because of the voice actor they went for, Paul Frees who passed away a few months after he did the voice for KARR, the way he played that part was truly evil, you just had hair standing up on the back of your neck, the way he did the voice to manipulate people was chilling, more so than Peter Cullen, it was just the timbre and pitch he went for that just dripped EVIL from that final voice acting role before he passed in 1986 The way Paul Frees said "Unless you want to be pressed right into the diesel block, I wouldn't move, Mr Miles." just left me chilled it was so controlled and dominating it left you with real fear...of KARR...

That 2nd episode gave me chills! Especially when Karr pretended to be the girls boyfriend and got in Karr, that right there made my arm hair stand up! The best episode!

"Stop struggeling, you foolish girl!" "What are you doing, where is Ron?" "I am afraid he couldn't make it." "Goodbyeee, MICHAEL KNIGHT!" The voice on Karr as he appeard the second time was so good! As mentionend, the scene where car jumps in the trailer and threats Mr. Miles to crush him into the diesel block... the voice suits Karr's character so well!

Yah I love KARR too, and it's a shame that many others assumed Peter Cullen was the voice for both episodes. Partly because Peter was more famous as the voice of Optimus Prime. But you know, having Peter voice the 1st episode and Paul voice the 2nd made the storyline more believable. KARR came into the world like an immature hot-headed kid, clueless and inexperienced, but eventually matured into a calm, cold, and devious psychopath. Peter and Paul's voices match that realistic progression from episode 1 to episode 2. But certainly, I liked Paul Frees's voice more.

KITT was a character as well, with his own personality. I loved his interactions with members of the public while parked up waiting for Micheal. Could you do a Top 10 of those interactions, for example when the car thieves tried to break into KITT and in doing so breaking tools before in the end KITT letting them in and taking them for a ride. There was the old lady who parked her car driving into KITT and then blaming it on KITT just as Micheal showed up. There was loads of these interactions and made KITT so lovable.

Honorable Mentions: the Clown Fire Truck from Circus Knights and the Hovercraft from Many Happy Returns.

I knew GOLIATH and K.A.R.R. will be 2nd and 1st😊 Bit sad that they left K.A.R.R.'s CPU there lying on the ground and never made a Garth & K.A.R.R. vs Michael & K.I.T.T. showdown with Bonnie and April joining forces to rebuild K.I.T.T... Can't wait to see another GOLIATH episode on the channel 🥰

My guess is that CPU would have made a return in a 5th season episode had Knight Rider been given a 5th season. Given KARR was in season 1 and 3.

Great video! I would of thought the ATV from the Season 4 Episode Hills Of Fire would've made the list.

I hated the juggernaut and Goliath.I also hated KARR he was so menacing.The driver of the limo in Buyout that got blown up was Jack Gill.

Would be cool to see a top 10 prop trucks used in Knight Rider. I always loved seeing all the COE’s and all the other assorted Ford L9000’s.

erm....one thing! wasn't the destroyed KARR's cpu, carried over to the newer Knight Rider series where it was part transformer(hence why Peter Cullen returned to do the voice, yeah yeah...as well as the fact he originally voiced KARR in the original series)

Great list! Personally I would have had Goliath at number 1, but KARR was defo a bag egg. I would have also included the acid pit forklift although maybe not an inherently evil machine on its own tbf. 😂

I think it was one T-Bird from Knight of the Drones that was re-used. In the picture shown for the "Knight Racer" episode it seems that it was hit low on the driver side door by a light blue car. Then when in episode "Knight Song"(tan) in the screen shot used you can see the driver side damage that matches the one from the previous time used.

How about, for a future top ten, you make a top ten heroes/good guys vehicles. By that I mean vehicles that the good guys used over the series. For example: 1. K.I.T.T 2. Michael's original car before he was shot in the pilot episode 3. The mobile base 4. Devon's Mercedes 5. David Dalton's vehicle ("Mouth of the Snake") (if I remember correctly, he had a motorbike) 6. RC3's motorbike 7. David Dalton's boss' car ("All That Glitters") 8. Bonny's car 9. April's car 10. Elliott Sykes' bike

I would say "Top 10 facts about KARR," but you guys already did a video about the villainous vehicle. (Hey, when a vehicle gets voiced by Optimus Prime and Boris Badenov, that's impressive. I think there's a whole wiki on Paul Fries and Peter Cullen.)

Despite being number 10, still glad the custom made killer made it on the list. I might've also said the Junk Yard Dog tractor which dumped KITT in the acid pit. And then KITT later returned the favour.

KARR Is easily my favorite villain of the show, Even though Peter Cullen did a great job Paul Frees did the character so much justice and made him sound and feel like what an evil KITT should sound and act like. I won't lie his story is certainly tragic, KARR was so much like a child with only care for himself because of how he was made unaware his creator had passed and fueled only by his hatred towards FLAG. I feel he was under used and I would have given anything to hear Paul Frees do his voice again. I feel he could have had so much potential but he was cut short but the few scenes we did get with him are scenes worth cherishing. I loved him so much I did a fan made version as the DeGory'un from the Carmageddon games like they DeLorean from Ready Player One but evil Like how KARR was (Well sort of, he's somewhat of an antihero) Though I made him more like the T-800 from Terminator 2.

my grandma had a black 1983 thunderbird for 20 years we had it for 10+ . it had the same interior with the same wheel and red carpet. if it was painted red it would look exactly like the one in the show.. my sister had a tan one that she wrecked in an accident.

Interesting video Joe - but a nitpick.Surely Adrienne had nothing to do with the initial building of Goliath .On screen she didn't appear until after Goliath aired. The episode seemed to suggest that Goliath was financed by Garthe, Elizabeth Knight and Tsombe Kuna and his organisation. Adrienne only came on the scene after Garthe was imprisoned ,she recovered the wreck, had it rebuilt and then broke Garthe out to get her revenge on Michael for the events in Soul Survivor as well as the deal for Klaus Bergstrom.

The clown car you briefly showed should be at the top because everyone knows clowns are scary 😲🤡🤡🤡

The drone cars were not Fila editions. The Fila edition was a special edition that was white over charcoal gray with gray interior. It also had a white grille. And from what i can tell on google, that steering wheel was only used in 1983. My guess is they were prototypes or something. I know that the thunderbird in the 1983 movie Stroker Ace was built from a prototype.

I really like Mr Custom's car. Maybe its awful axle tramp appeals to me. We must have a similar sense of humour - when you read out the criteria for No1 on the list I said 'That Knerd Bike' Very satisfying when you revealed it. So that's where I ended playback. There's no way any other vehicle could be number one.

How about a top ten cameos of actors/actresses that went on to be really famous? That might be cool.

Does anybody Remember in 2008 version Knight Rider KARR is mentioned bu Dr.Grahmon ( sorry if misspelled ) after Kitts AT goes nuts he says to Agent Toress If I have to I will destroy Kitt I wont have another KARR in my hands ( something like that even if is isnt Word by word) Larer in King to Knights Pawn Agent Toress tries to activate KARR who is by then a Mustang that can become a giant robot who is later destroyed by KITT and Mike ( the orginal Michaël Knights Son) If KARR was so evil what made Agent Toress think putting KITTS Memories into KARR would change anything? all it did was reawaken a dangerous Villain? The episode was good to watch but u think somebody would have read Devons Reports and notes about KARR and not to reactivate him

I would 100% put dagger DX Somewhere on the list. That car is just too cool and it's actually a pity it wasn't depicted as such in the show. I feel like if there's a crossover of transformers and knight rider, dagger DX Would be the perfect decepticon.

Nicely done, very compelling top 10 subject. In my opinion, the top 5 should have been: #1. The Juggernaut #2. Goliath #3. Drones #4. Evil KITT (Killer KITT) #5. KARR When determining each vehicle's place on the list, how much trouble they caused Michael and KITT is an important factor. Specifically if they damaged/destroyed KITT or put Michael in a situation he was at risk of serious injury/death. First place goes to the Juggernaut because it mutilated KITT with Michael inside which could have resulted in his death. It is perhaps the most violent and traumatizing destruction of KITT in the entire series. Second place goes to Goliath because he wrecked KITT with Michael inside which had the potential to kill him. Michael also could have died from dehydration in the extreme desert heat if he wasn't able to make the patch repair job to KITT. Third place goes to the Drones because they destroyed KITT with missiles. Michael was ejected which saved his life, but put him in a vulnerable position. The Drones could have killed him if they wanted to. Fourth place goes to evil KITT as seen in 'Killer KITT' because he nearly killed Michael on several occasions specifically when he sent him into the snack stand. KITT was forced to go against his primary programing, preservation of human life which not only endangered Michael, but anyone else that got in the way. Fifth place goes to KARR because while he endangered Michael's life both times he and KITT encountered him, he did not damage KITT in a significant way. The head on collision turbo boost in the climax of 'KITT V KARR' is the closest he came to destroying both Michael and KITT however he was in a weakened condition.

I thought too that Junkyard Dog is in the front because that killed KITT completely.

Iron Curtain and all, I don't know how Universal Studios could have gotten a genuine piece of soviet armor. Perhaps it was a replica sitting around the studio left over from a movie.

Joe, I just wonder if by some small miracle that Goliath and his trailer are still around if you would purchase them and restore them as well? Goliath was one of my favorite vehicles other than Karr of course. with juggernaut being third.

KARR AKA "Wirehead" had a Frankenstein story about him. The best comparison would be Lore. KARR was Wilton's prototype not to be confused with Charles Graiman's KARR or the KRO from Team Knight Rider. If there are other vehicles I'm curious about Joe, it would be the Contron trucks and that pest of a red Gremlin that would show up from time to time.😎

I always wanted to see Garth survive and resurrect KARR.

One and two had to be Goliath and K.A.R.R. The only question was what order.

We need the top 10 jumps that were actual jumps with real cars and not mini models.

IMO, KARR ought to be # 2 and Goliath should be #1. The reason being was that KARR was always at a disadvantage against KITT. Yes KARR was the original but he was also deactivated and abandoned. That left him limited in experience, guidance, features, support and maintenance. KITT got all the pampering, repairs and upgrades and all. I can't recall a scene where KARR was a threat to KITT. Goliath on the hand, made KITT lose sleep at night. In a head to head showdown, KITT was 2-0 against KARR, but 0-2 against Goliath.
