More details here:
/ knightsofengland
This is a prototype of Knights of England's new replica of the voice display. The production version is expected to be available by the end of summer (July or August 2023). Production Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) are currently in design. A single 4-layer PCB will be used to achieve all the functionality demonstrated on the prototypes in this video. The hardware also incorporates a serial communications bus, for which the software is still under development and will be available as a software upgrade at a later date (no additional hardware will be required), allowing communication with and control of the module from a computer. Connection to a smart phone will also be possible via the serial communications port, but this will require an additional plug-in bluetooth module. A link to a new video on the production version of this product will be posted when available.

Dear Neil Breakwell, I hope this message finds you well. I stumbled upon your KZread channel through recommendations and was immediately drawn to your video about the new Voice Display - Prototype from Knights of England inspired by Knight Rider KITT. As a person who devoted their life in the field of law and order, I couldn't help but appreciate the authentic and well-built hardware you showcased. I wished to share a positive word of encouragement. Your dedication and passion for the project were evident in every detail described concerning the Voice Display prototype. I was amazed how the technology came to life and captured the essence of the Knight Rider KITT. This work is a testament to remarkable skills and knowledge, and it's incredible to see someone and no doubt a skilled group dedicated to this craft. I had to meditate upon what the draw card is here- and I believe its why the sci-fi show has durability. Your project represented more than just bells and whistles and lights. It stands for technology that supports something noble and just, which is truly inspiring in today's world. It made me think of the Foundation for Law and Order and their mission to develop machinery that aligns with the ideals of justice and good. I could see this video fitting into an actual real life foundation equipping its field agents with tools upholding its directives. That kind of undercurrent definitely comes from some depths. I believe it's people like you who make the world a better place, and I wanted to take a moment to send you words of appreciation and best wishes on your endeavors and channel. Thank you for sharing your/this incredible work with the world. It's exciting to see what other amazing projects you'll come up with. Keep up the excellent work, and here's to many more successes on your KZread journey and doors of opportunity! Warm regards from the Cape of Good Hope peninsula South Africa

Hi, Matthew - Wow .. thank you so much for your kind words ! It means a great deal to hear such appreciation and encouragement regarding the attention to detail that has gone into developing these products. One thing not covered in the videos so far is the serial communications functionality, already built into all units, enabling comms with a computer or a smartphone app via bluetooth. Next product in development is a module which I call "DM0" (Dash Module 0), which will allow a single comms bus from a computer/smartphone app and will interpret commands that it receives, switching in the module addressed by the commands for reply. Difficult to explain, but video coming soon :) Thanks again for your encouragement and kind words. best regards - Neil
