I loved Aubergine on my last Cape Town trip. Aubergine established in a historic building in Gardens, this upscale restaurant offers a menu of modern European dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, as well as an extensive wine list featuring South African varietals.

The restaurant that caught my attention the most was Salsify, as it is very well decorated, its white walls bring an atmosphere of peace and overlook the nature!

I was delighted with La Colombe. I had the opportunity to dine there recently, and it was an incredible experience. The ambiance is welcoming, the food delicious, and the service impeccable. Everything was simply perfect. I highly recommend it. I've also heard great things about Bilboa and I'm eager to go there and try it out. The reviews are always positive, especially about the stunning view and the fresh seafood dishes. I can't wait to have that gastronomic experience too.

Quite impressed with the GALJOEN. It has an ingenious location, very nice ambiance, very varied Mediterranean menu, I would say an infinity of dishes. That ocean view is the highlight of the visit. Of course I would love to visit it.

Only one problem: cuts out big chunk of people being extremely expensive. The pronunciation is killing me.

Whilst this is a good video to advertise the various top restaurants in Cape Town, I find it very irritating and almost disrespectful for the narrator in this video not to have taken the time to find out the correct pronunciations of many of the restaurant names and at times, the ingredients and dishes. Sometimes the 'correct' name and maybe an explanation of it will give the travellers a completely different insight to the history of these restaurants.
