The Grumman F-14 Tomcat currently sits at the top of the American aviation tech tree and has become one of my favourite jets to fly in War Thunder. It may not be the best strike aircraft (there are other jets for that role) but it is an excellent air dominance/denial fighter.
If you need to clear an area and keep enemy aircraft from entering back into your zone of control than the F-14 is the best jet for the job.
The missiles that the F-14 has are great with the my favourite being the AIM-7E-2 Sparrow (Dogfight) air-to-air missiles for their great maneuverability and also how well they pair with the F-14's radar.
All in all the F-14 is a great jet that is absolutely stunning to look at!
