In some way or another the universal love maybe is titanic? To balance out one energy, there has to be the same on the other side to eventually bring the balance of life.

Caroline this one is fantastic. I wasn't sure what I'd find since I'm not familiar with this archetype but I love the final end game of the myth and agree there's a massive imbalance with people who feel that have 0 power (most 99%) and those who can control _everything_ in one decision, changing so many people's livelihoods in one decision.

Godzilla (as a response to nuclear war) has represented earths response to humans irresponsible use of power. Sometimes as a “helper” sometimes a destructive force unleashed. These Titans in modern takes seem to be “check” to human power, like we WANT Titans to save us from ourselves.

This understanding you give us about Titanic power is so helpful. It is good to assign the correct archetype to dictators so we can understand that we are giving them permission to use our power. We are turning it over to them. Big wake up there! The Titan archetype. Much to contemplate. And you give us a reason to be serious about our own empowerment. We can't waste our power. Really interesting topic, I would be really interested if you expanded on this to read a book about how the mythology has changed with the development of the psyche and relationship to power, you should definitely expand on this!

Reminds me of the boy who sees that the emporor has no clothes! To me it's the destructive side of fire; we see powerful peple building destructive fantasies as they self destruct (burn out). I am learning that when we create inner fortitude, we can easily be blown off course but we can be like Ulysius & plug our ears to ward off the sirens so we can move forward.

I have been appreciative of every bit of this series. I’m curious about an archetype for modern midlife. Does the crone still resonate with today’s women?

I believe the greatest affliction of modern times is to believe that we exist for big huge purpose/mission individually. This is inspired partly by our nature to grow hence bigger and more is always a push. So it’s easy to get pushed towards that as mass creates energy. In other words, the push very strong. However, our purpose is to just breathe and collectively, it’s a big huge purpose. Humans (part of mammals) service the whole with CO2 that is expelled from our breath to the air. The plants need them to create O2 for all animals. The plants/ trees then grow and provide shades to make the earth surface conducive for life. Their roots go deep and it works as mesh to reinforce the stability on the surface of earth to support lives. Collectively it’s big huge. But individually, we are tiny. Our power, can either build or destruct. It’s not individual power. For example, if we do not control the push for bigger and more, to feed our insatiable desires, we cause destruction. We clear lands, contaminate oceans, pollute the air. We have less plants/trees to service the air with Oxygen. Our earth becomes less stable with less reinforcements. Marine life dies from contaminants. Air filled with Carbon Dioxide (not what we need to sustain life). And we think wealth $$$ can buy better life. This is our power. To live and not destroy or to live and destroy. It doesn’t matter if 10 or 10 millions or 1 billion dies because when we are out of control, the more removed from the face of the earth, the slower we destroy. Not a good thing for individuals but great for the whole because renewal can happen. We are not here to live for ourselves. We are here as a collective. Nothing is personal. “I” is very very small. It’s the we that is the power. ✌️

How can we interpret philosophically the fact that Zeus only could defeat the Titans with the help of other Titans like Hecatoncheires and Prometheus? And how much do we humans individually consider ourselves similar to gods? I bet most people wouldn't even think they're close to being like Hercules, let alone a Titan. It seems like the concept of godliness might be more of a collective human idea, and in our daily lives, we often forget about this collective perspective. Particularly, I've been feeling like a chained Andromeda XD

Mohammad is one of God’s last messengers and prophet. And there is wealth of knowledge in his teaching. Thank you🙏🙏🙏🙏

this all seems possible only because of the internet. This happened during my generation. Without this abundance of information we wouldn't know about these issues impacting other people. Perhaps they always existed to a degree, but now we worry more.? Knowledge is power. The Internet provides an abundance of false information aka false power.

As a person of culture - I find the European worldview a poor starting ground for long view comprehension of history. Hierarchical in the sense that the story teller gets to set the stage from their own perception and education.
