    I have michelin pilot sports as4's on my awd gsx...worset sketchyiest tire I've ever run in winter. Doesn't grip virtually at all on snow or ice, can be taking a corner and they'll suddenly loose all traction and your sideways. It was a ton of fun but the pucker factor is there. The continental dws 06's are far better in the cold temps then the pilot sports. For people actually wanting to run these in snow and ice. Both a awesome in summer tho love the grip.

  • @jinxtacy

    @jinxtacy

    The thing that I always thought made Michelin special was that their tires still perform well as they wear. I like the Continentals as they seem to be a quieter tire but they seem to never make their claimed mileage at least here in Dallas. We have a lot of crowned roads with textured concrete that seems to eat them up a little bit more than asphalt maybe. I just demolished an Michelin as3 Plus on the MR2 and they discontinued my tire size so now I have to shop around for a low profile 17s which luckily still has a couple okay tires. I'll probably go Continental since they still offer the size I need and it's not like I really want to drive on the same tire until they're bald hoping for a slightly softer ride but I hate mix matching fronts and rears.

    The A/S 4 is going to be better in different climate situations, but the PS4S is going to be a better performance tire, and really shine on dry summer days.

    I love watching your videos, but I really wish you would make more videos with summer/winter tires. All-seasons won't cut it here as it's too icy, snowy and cold in the winter. We also salt our roads so most people have "uglier" winter rims, which are usually smaller too.

    Too early for the Continental SportContact7, huh? Because they outperform the PS4S in the wet by literal worlds and the same goes in dry conditions. It's by far the best tire to have on a performance car when not considering semi slicks

Wet traction at launch is a joke, but that’s why I have a set of extreme contact from continental on some off brand wheels, might need to get a set of winter wheels and tires from y’all soon. Fixed the ups shipping issues? Lol I jk I jk I kid, seriously though I want more wheels and tires keep em safe on the way to me, see you soon boys and girls at fitment ind.

    I'm enjoying the gmax-05's. They work really well on my Corolla hatch 6spd. They are way better than the stock dunlop anasave 01 a/s. The dunlop were quiet and fuel efficient, but had zero grip in the wet.

    @_DaRobot , the handling is impressive in the dry and wet. They have remained quiet and comfortable over almost every type of pavement in the 205/55R16s. I have only put 5k miles on them, but no wear concerns. I'd guesstimate a life of 40-45k miles life down here on Florida roads with my driving style.
