She didn’t mention it much but she also said she got a palm reading from every psychic and that’s what is read on palms. Heart lines show generally how old you’ll get to, and intersections in it will often show how many kids (or things you treat like kids such as beloved pets) will be in your life. And while cards can fluctuate, your palm won’t change so the reading stays consistent.

@@thirdeye440 i think its more that all four are using the same reference on palm reading, rather than any hard fact as to if something is true or not. So if a book for palm reading says ‘people with heart lines this length usually live to be in their 80s!’ And all four read that, then that’s what they’re going to say, regardless of how true that actually is.

I love this because I'm just as skeptical about psychics (i.e. don't believe in it at all), but have always been curious about the experience and how they stay in business. Very elucidating!

As a tarot reader myself, Psychic number 2 definitely has my respect for telling you to check with the vet if you are worried about your birds instead of paying a ridiculous sum of money for random dodads that they ‘claim’ will help. The way I see it, crystals and incense are to be used for mental wellbeing and not for medical benefit. After all, they are just rocks and pleasant smells, but that doesn’t mitigate the feeling of calm they can give you if you believe in it. Also about the 3 kids thing! Since you already have 2 birds (who you really care a lot about) it’s very possible that the 3rd ‘kid’ could be referring to another bird in the future. Just my guess though :3

It's one of those things, like voice acting from what I've been looking into, where it sounds like a lot on paper but could barely manage to pay the bills depending on circumstances and how often they are commissioned work like that. If it's just a hobby that makes a lil scratch on the side, that's all positives, but depending on it for actual income likely wouldn't work out by itself.

I've never had a problem at 3:00 a.m. in my life. I am always happily fast asleep at this time, so it is the most peaceful and safe time for me.

For almost any job, one must pay an expensive fee for the work that is done to be good. But if you ask me, a psychic who is free does the greatest job!

My aunt used the be a psychic back in the 90s. She did palm readings, astral map, tarot, the whole thing. Her clients were, usually, middle and upper class stay-at-home wifes. I remember asking her about her job and she told me her job was, essentially, to be a friend of these women. These ladies that lived for her husbands and essentially had no friends or social interactions outside of family, she was there basically to listen to them and bond with them over weird little things they care about. It completely changed my perspective about her job. Sure, there are a lot of psychs that are scammers and predatories. But there are also those "stealth-therapists" like my aunt; SPECIALLY back then in the 90s with the whole stigma of therapy and the whole patriarchy thing.

@@brandonborlaza9205 that depends on who’s doing the readings. Most of them are pretty similar but have little differences that vary from reader to reader. Personally, I do readings by myself, meaning the client only tells me their problem or what they want to know, and I read by asking the cards to show me the thing, shuffle and pick the cards. Then, I get the meanings of the cards and weave together an answer that may or may not have extra information depending on the position of the cards in the reading - it’s not really a science, it’s more intuitive in my case. After telling the client what I was told, we might talk a bit more for some minutes to examine variables and details not previously disclosed, which may lead to a refinement in the answer since you get more context. I think being able to be empathetic and analitic of your client’s situation is really helpful for a reader, as you can understand better how things are tying together in their lives atm, which leads to better advices post-reading.

EDIT: Like, for example, this dude came to me and was talking about his awful ex-girlfriend that was complaining for everything, and I was thinking to myself that this dude was obviously blaming her for everything and not taking accountability, and turns out that when I did his cards, he had the Hermit Arcana, which is for introspection, and I said to him: "Well, your cards say that you may be partly responsible of your relationship's downfall, are you sure that your girlfriend is the sole responsible?" And he was like: "Maybe I was too pushy and I may have disregarded how she felt a couple of times" 2nd EDIT: Also, another time I was doing readings for free, I was asked by a woman who was basically recently out of an abusive relationship, had lost all of her support systems due to the shitty boyfriend isolating her and wanted to figure out what to do with her life. I flat out told her that I wouldn't be able to help her much with that, that she should see a therapist because that was a thing that a therapist should help her solve. She told me that she didn't want outright help, she just wanted some certainty, and I did her cards and it turned out that her cards were the World, the Empress and the Star, which, combined, basically give a lecture of a hopeful future and a lot of girl power.

Psychic 4 was a smart psychic because she put you in a situation that was really difficult to get out of. The other psychics just gave you a really easy to decline offer, but by you having to borrow her things, it encouraged you to come back repeatedly, before eventually swindling 800 dollars from you.

And the best (read: most horrifying) part is that it's psychic 1 and 2 that have left the impression of being predatory, not number 4, the one that actually made of with a pretty substantial amount of money in a very shady way. All of these come across as con artists (okay, except maybe 5, because she got high, and 2 maybe a bit less than the others, but that isn't a compliment in itself), but number 4 is the one who's actually good at it.

Yeah, I don't respect the job since it's a scam but it at least sounds like she's just in it for the money (which is potentially understandable since money is important & not always easy to get) & still wants her customers to have a good time. One of the rare cases where someone doing something really bad still seems like a good person. After all, she'd probably make more money if she threw all morality away & just told people their relatives/pets/friends will die if the don't buy something expensive & come back for another reading after using it. Unless I'm underestimating the value of happy customers who genuinely wanna come back in the psychic industry.

I was just about to say that

I have asked for psychic readings of myself. I had fake psychics claim that I was courageous and they said I worked very hard for everything in my life. The last thing they would say is that people in my house were secretly selfish or that I needed to move on from my past or create something of my own. I remember that it was annoying because they would give me vague information which stressed me out because I do not know what to do with my life. I also did not like the fact they were charging me for things that gave more questions than answers.I told them off for trying to change my life when I’m happy with the life I live now and told them gods don’t decide my fate. As a "psychic" myself (i do tarot), the fun part of the cards is that everything is heavily up to interpretation, which is why many people use them as a form of reflection! The 'kids' part don't necessarily have to be children, it can be anyone who you are a caretaker of, which includes pets :) Also, please be wary of people who charge hundreds for a reading, you can do them yourself with an Amazon deck and access to google. I'm not gonna knock anyone who does it for a living, but I find that people who do tend to be very money hungry, and are likely to say whatever you wanna hear.

Wait that's so true tho! In my readings, anything that mentions kids I redirect to it talking about my pets. honestly, just go for it if romance naturally comes up. Regardless of whether it’s a good or bad experience, you will learn something in the end and grow as a person. First rule of any cold reading: guesses are based on general stereotypes and statistics of people. But also, first rule of psych visions (if you believe something else is out there): many times visions are not meant to be literally interpreted. A statement someone will have three children doesnt exaclty means that the person will have three biological children (we just assume the regular ways how that may happen). There are several examples of this use of magic through history (and many think that's cheating... but magic in the end doesnt have to have honor); one of the best examples is found in the play Macbeth: even when Macbeth was a formidable warrior, one lecture predicted his fall would come "when the forest of Dunsinane walked to his castle". Then it's settled, he thought; there is no way a forest can walk... until a group of rebels cut branches to cover their movements in such numbers it seemed the forest was walking down from the hills (and Macbeth got killed).

I had my star chart read once which I think is fun. I know alot of people unironically believe that stuff and I think it’s pretty low stakes compared to claiming to know the future. did do some kind of true psychic reading once (might have been palm or tarot dont remember) but I remember saying I was incredibly worried about succeeding in college and she told me I would be fine. I dropped out after my freshman year lol.

I mean the whole three kids thing could apply to your birds and cat you have, which somehow is the only option that makes sense

2 was a wonderful person; not forcing you into anything extra, giving honest advice rather than trying to get more money, and recommending hiking which is an easy thing to see benefits and appeal in.

Psychic 2 is basically exactly what you should go for in a psychic you trust. The hallmark of a good one is trying to improve your life - trying to steer you towards activities and directions that they see being good for you. In that vein, always be wary when a psychic diminishes school medicine and always take positive note when a psychic steers you towards it. Taking modern medicine seriously and knowing when to put you into the hands of a good medical professional shows they are skeptical themselves and have your best interests at heart.

@@deadalpeca8099 No. Look... therapists are like a doctor, right? But you don't go to the doctor for every ailment. Sometimes you have a headache for a day, so you take a painkiller and move on. Sometimes, your throat's a bit scratchy and your nose is a bit stuffy, but after some tea you feel much better. Psychics are to therapists what pharmacists and over the counter meds are to doctors. You shouldn't treat chronic or intense ailments with them, there is a point where a professional needs a deeper look at you. But there are also things that may need a little external boostie, but are possible to heal with on your own just fine. You may need the boostie to make the healing period less stressful, or to give your body (mind) a small burst of strength to handle it. Some spiritual practices might even become permanent healthy lifestyle decisions, like meditation and stuff like aromatherapy for mindfulness, or affirmations. A good pharmacist will be able to go "Oh, I have just the thing!" when you ask about a small issue. Sometimes they even know better what will work well than a doctor, especially if you've been a regular for a while. But they will also absolutely go "I'm sorry, but that needs to be checked by a doctor." when that's appropriate. That reflects how good psychics work.

I'm ngl I'm pretty sure the mother of three bit is Jaiden being a bird mom to three birds. Who knows, maybe another bird will come down the line!

I think that it's so standard because most of us have around the same size hands. From what I know, how long our life will be, how many kids we will have and other palm reading stuff from the length of the three most prominent lines on our hand. The rest of the predictions: they look at your body language and predict some stuff that is very vague. Like you are working on a big project - most of us are working on stuff, and it can be perceived as big of small if you take it that way.

remember that jaiden has a team of animators, meaning it is likely that jaiden wasn't the one that made the decision to include ace attorney references nontheless, it's still in jaiden's video and channel

I have been going to this Native American Shaman who is quite honestly the most amazing person to have ever existed. She doesn’t charge much and let’s you walk around her property which is so peaceful. She’s cleaned my route chakra and has helped me reconnect with my past lives! She even sends you home with little directions to keep yourself protected.

A buddy of mine used to be a psychic. He said that a lot of the time when people would come in for readings, they were the type of people that just didn't have many places left to turn to. Desperate people. People that just wanted peace of mind. He said a lot of times when he was giving readings, he would put the readings aside and just talk and listen to them to find out why they were really there. These are people that normally you can take advantage of them. They recently lost loved ones and want to reach out to them, they lost their jobs or have big medical problems. People just want to hear that everything is going to be okay.

Mmhm. It's a common assumption that people buying luxuries are rich (like people who assume gacha game big spenders are millionaires.) In reality, these people are usually desperate, and/or addicted to spending money.

@@Promatim I spent money and instantly got a drop of seratonin/dopamine in my brain. That means I should spend more! It's exactly what casinos, gotcha games, loot boxes and Amazon or geared toward preying on.

@@Izzythemaker127 a lot of the time that's what they needed. But, in America at least, therapist is a big scary nono word for a lot of people. So going to talk to your problems to a weirdo that claims to see the future, and tells you "you're going to be fine"... well it gives some comfort.
