That's not a curse. A cursed team is the Clippers. Phoenix made a foolish decision trading for KD. They got a new coach, that was the right decision. What went wrong was trading Ayton for pretty much nothing, getting Beal, and getting a horrible return on the CP deal. VanVleet was a free agent in 2023, so was D'Lo. There were moves that 'could' have been made... But once again, here we have a new billionaire owner thinking he can get the best players on expensive contracts and expects that team to win it all 🤦. At least make sure the team is built to win. James Jones needs to be fired too.

I could make jokes about the team from Arizona having their season aborted... but we all know this roster was never viable.

KD’s legacy since 2016 has been beyond cooked. Couldn’t win before joining the 73-9 Warriors and their unanimous MVP due to him and the Thunder choking a 3-1 lead, goes on to join the team that beat him for two easy rings, gets embroiled with a beef with Draymond and feels that he wasn’t a part of their culture, leaves to form his own superteam in Brooklyn to prove that he can win as a leader, couldn’t get the job done and had to watch as the Warriors win a title without them, demands a trade to Phoenix to pair up with Booker, and even then, he still can’t win.

Durant played 4 more games than the Brooklyn Nets

Don't get complacent because you achieved a sweep ☝️
