What's not to get? Aloysius O' Hare appears and brings brand new cars, houses and lawns with him. A kid interjects to let everyone know he went swimming and now glows. They manufacture their trees, and buy them fresh from tree-machines. These tree machines also dispense brand-new parking lots. They really love living this way, it reminds them of living inside of a man named 'Paradise', who found a way to sell air with satisfaction guaranteedville. They have fun year-round and thank the lord; thus they became zillionaires. The sun only now rises on this scene, smog and trash and chemicals enter the city during daybreak; but require 96 batteries to exist. The Thneedville citizens don't wish to know the dark truth that smog, trash, and chemicals are made in factories. They've all that they needville and would be better off not knowing about where the smog, trash, and chemicals are made. They rather enjoy the dirty air, it's perfect! They have all they need in Thneedville.
