As a D-Backs fan, if we were going to lose the WS, I would have wanted it to be to someone like Texas. They came so close about a decade ago and fell short. I’m truly ok with this result. Congratulations Texas. Your state deserves this.

Happy to finally share a title!!

As a Giants fan, I feel so proud of the Texas Rangers for finally breaking the curse. It must've felt so bad having 62 seasons of total failure and 12 seasons of miserable heartbreak. Congrats Texas, Let's make this a moment we will never forget!

This was enacted because the Rangers were once known as the Washington Senators. They were established in 1961 and move to Arlington in 1972 after years of failure and poor seasons. Fans revolted at the move and stormed the field on the Senators final game in Washington. The Nationals won in 2019, and the Rangers win in 2023. So technically the curse’s undoing was true to word.

I'm 23 years old and have been a Rangers fan since 2007 when I moved to the DFW area. I witnessed the pain and misery of 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015 & 2016. I sat there through the 100 loss and 94 loss seasons in 2021 and 22. This is the greatest Rangers team I've ever witnessed.

I’m a Cardinals fan and I got tears in my eyes tonight so Rangers fans better be crying! While I got to experience disbelief in a joyful way in 2011, I was well aware of how crushing that must’ve been for the Rangers and their fans. There have been other devastating things happen to the Rangers that you didn’t mention and neither will I. Hopefully this brings healing to a lot of fans. Enjoy it and let those tears flow!

12 years ago, I was rooting against this team so hard. Division rivals to the Athletics. World Series opponent of the San Francisco Giants. Eliminated the Yankees from the playoffs twice. This time, all these years later, my sympathy has grown and they gained my support. Now they finally won it all. Congratulations to the Texas Rangers! Edit: Only eliminated the Yankees once. Only considering 2010s in this statement.

You’re welcome. 😎 The night of game 6 in 2011 I couldn’t stay awake and fell asleep with the Rangers up 7-4. I was extremely sick with something called Post Ehrlichia Meningoencephalitis. Brain inflammation. I missed the greatest game in Cardinals history but winning was all that mattered. I always think about how the other team and fans must feel. As a Cardinals fan, we get to watch our team play in the postseason a lot but they usually do not win it all. Some of them hurt more than others. Makes winning that more special.

I’m a blue jays fan who has been watching them my whole life but the rangers just really had it this year! After they swept us in that 4 game series (it was in the normal season) I could just tell they can win it. The diamond backs also had an amazing team so congratulations to both teams!!! Even though semien is now with the rangers he’s still one of my favourite players. Congrats rangers!

39 years old. Been a fan since i was a child. Always got made fun of for being a Rangers fan. Witnessed the back to back season going to the WS and losing. 2 years ago losing 100 games. I've been a Texas Rangers fan for 20 years. I get my love of Texas Rangers Baseball from my dad. The last time I watched the Rangers World Series game was back in 2021 when they lost to St Louis. That was the worst one until last night when I got the news from my sister over the phone. Congratulations to the Texas Rangers. You deserved to win that World Series title. I remember the first time ever seeing the Texas Rangers live was when I was a little kid, it was a school field trip to a day game to Arlington Stadium, I remember how hot those aluminum bleachers were, now, 46 years old, seeing this, made me feel so happy! Congratulations to the Texas Rangers from this life long fan.

Almost 3 weeks later and the tears roll down my face over and over each time I watch this. The joy is indescribable-and my heart swells when I think about how proud my dad would have been to see the Rangers win the World Series. He was a HUGE fan, and I remember one of the few things we did together was watch Rangers games together as a kid. Good times, real good times…

@jorgevelez8526 I guess back in that day they allowed camcorders in the stadium because I have a VHS tape of my dad recording Nolan warming up and almost the entire game. The date says 1992 on it. I teared up watching this again tonight and watching other videos of our boys taking it. I don't think there is any other sports team I'm as passionate about as this team. It's been a long time coming for us and most of America was cheering for us. I'm a proud Ranger fan from Tennessee as you can see in my profile pic on here! My son is even named after Nolan. His middle name is Rylan so I'm sure you can figure out how that was made.

Onya Rangers I grew up in Dallas watching Nolan Ryan pitch. I now live in Sydney Australia and watched every pitch. It's finally happened. Yeeeeeeeeeew 🎉

It’s been over 25 years since I became a Rangers fan. I can honestly say I never thought this would happen. I am so happy that it finally has. Congrats Rangers!! You earned it!!

Me too, and I'm 16 years old but have been watching the Rangers since June 2022 when I went to my first game

One of the greatest redemption stories in sports history. They lost back in 2011 when they were one strike away from winning and had went through purgatory for 12 years and now they’re champions. Congratulations Texas, you’ve earned it! 💙❤️

That's not a redemption story. A redemption story is when you get cheated out of a title and you come back the next season and win, or when you lose in the championship game by your own mistakes and come back to win it. By your logic, the Chiefs are a redemption story too.

And, just like that, Arlington can rest easy tonight. After 12 long years, we did it. 🎉🎉🎉

I’m not sure if we’ll ever ‘be back’, because we all know damn well how that turns out: 76’, 93’, and 21’ Suns losing 3 NBA Finals in a row. 08’ Cardinals getting robbed of the Super Bowl.

As a Cardinals fan who has been cheering for the Rangers all year, this was well deserved, well done Rangers and Diamondbacks. The Rangers are my 2nd favorite team and it will stay that way for years to come.

​@@brianmeen2158 it was a fight in that first game and got beat handedly in the 2nd game. Rangers were just better lately. If there wasn't the walk in the 9th inning of game 1, Rangers would only have the 3 wins right now.

I'm born and raised Dodger blue through and through but I'm damn proud of and happy for my man Corey Seager! Losing him hurt the most out of anyone in the last 12 years but he's still one of my favorite players in the game and I'm stoked on his second ring and MVP title. Well deserved, well earned, same goes for the entire Rangers roster. Congratulations, Texas! You now have a better and more deserving team representing your state as champions.

From a Braves fan, the Texas Rangers were amazing this entire postseason. Congratulations to Bruce Bochy on winning his 4th world series and also shout out to Tony Beasley the 3rd base coach for the rangers who is from my home state of Virginia!
