I mean, they were apparently cheating before that which is still annoying, but they were doing it in a way that was completely ineffective until Beltran came and showed what "he learned" lol.

😢I was with my dad watching he's a fan from 72 he's battling terminal cancer so I'm glad he got to see it since I don't know how much longer he has left. I'm sure you're grandpa is smiling big up in the upper nosebleeds.

My Papa literally received a Certificate of Die-Hard Cubs Fan with Ernie Banks' signature on it and he died just after the 2012 World Series, so rest assured I was glad when 2016 happened, but yeah, would've been great to actually have him watch it. I'll just ask him how he felt when I see him next, I guess.

Dude, that pitching was so stressful last night both ways. Gallen and Eovaldi gave us one for the ages. We’ve waited so long for this moment. Some never made it, some for too long. But the wait is over. Thanks to you and pretty much every DBacks fan I’ve met in this series. You guys have a ton of class, yall were really cool here in game 2 even though we lost that one lol. I got to meet a lot of cool people. I’m sure we will do this dance someday again. Until then, what an incredible road the Diamondbacks had to get through. Truly underrated.

I definitely remember the Cowboys being awesome, but when you're that young, you just take it in stride and don't really appreciate it, plus most of my family are Cowboy haters haha. Same with the Stars back then, though I do remember my uncle being a big enough fan that I picked up on the hype a little. The 2011 Mavs were huge for me, as I had been a pretty hardcore fan since the 01-02 season and had suffered though '06 and '07 as well as all the years of getting "little brothered" by the Spurs. But this Rangers title, man... it just hits WAY different (especially after experiencing 2011-style heartbreak personally as a soccer coach). After 2010-2011, an era that was so fun to be a fan in, it just felt like we blew the closest shot we'd ever have. If we couldn't get it done with that squad, a squad who won back to back pennants, we wouldn't get it done for a long, long time. Never been so glad to be wrong. It still feels like we're living in an alternate timeline haha

Similar experience to me. I'm 28, grew up going to Rangers games in 100 degree heat during summers off from school, ended up falling off the wagon after the heartbreak of 2011 and focusing only on hockey. Finally started watching again this playoffs and it was oh, so sweet.

I’m not even a Rangers but I’m so happy for them, they went a hell of a historic playoff run and it ended on the highest note possible. Cue Higher by Creed! ⚾️😄⚾️

Also Tree thank you for including Eric Nadel's call. He's been front row to most of the Ranger futility and seen a lot of bad baseball. He deserves this win more than anybody. I had tears of happiness when I first heard the call because you can hear the pain, the sadness, and happiness in his voice. Also Hello Win Column and Hello World Series. Much love guys in gonna have a good sports cry now.

This was a very fun post season. As a Phillies fan, I'm disappointed we didn't go all the way but seeing the Rangers finally win their first World Series was pretty cool.

Being a younger fan watching the 2010, 2011, and 2015 series, I’ve only known pain. David Freese and Jose Bautista would haunt my nightmares. But this team slayed the demon. It’s like a weight is off my shoulders. It’s not happiness. It’s relief. Thanks for making me cry. Love you Tree.

As a Rangers fan, this feels amazing. Over a decade of holding onto the back to back heartbreak, years of being a bottom feeder, just being disappointed year after year while the Astros kept winning. I just kept thinking the Rangers were never going to win it all. It doesn’t feel real still. The Texas Rangers are finally champions!

When Garcia hit that walk off in Game 1 on the same day as "We will see you tomorrow night", I knew the Rangers were destined to win it all, the baseball gods have finally smiled upon us.

As a fan of the team with the LONGEST drought of a World Series win (Indians/Guardians), congrats Rangers all my family in Dallas loves it.

As a Rangers fan, I can't think of anything that would have done the moment more justice than this video that you've put together. There's a parade planned and all those trappings scheduled for what'll be today in 5 minutes, but this three minute video hit so hard and was everything I would've wanted to see about this World Series: The half-century long build-up, only to have to try again a dozen years later. If I'm going to be frank... it's still settling in that the Rangers finally won it all... I feel like I should be waiting for game 6 right now...

Dbacks fan here. I’m definitely upset we lost, but I’m so happy for the Rangers regardless. 63 years of failure finally ends for that franchise. Hope there’s more to come from both of our teams

They got even WORST until a Year after being moved to the AL. The EXPENSIVE ass, Overpaid $300 Million+ Overrated Yankees and Dodgers didn't use Electronic Sign Stealing? You REALLY believe that they WEREN'T doing it? That only ONE Fucking Team in the Entire MLB was using Electronic Sign Stealing? That somehow, the Evil Empire and the Mickey Mouse Dodgers are INNOCENT and have NEVER rigged a Series or Cheated? The Rangers got the EASY Route to ending their Legacy of Failure this year. Bochy is close to Joe Torre, in one of the GREATEST MLB Managers of all time. We Giants got THREE Beautiful Crowns in a 4 Year Period in each of the Even years during the early and mid 2010s. Bochy has a Medias Touch and I'm glad he delivered for the Rangers.

The phrase “High Drive! It’s Tied!” Will be remembered forever in Texas. Freese took it away in 2011. Seager gave it back in 2023.

I think game 1 was the only memorable game out of this series, the story behind it for the Rangers is great but outside of that the world series was mostly meh

Thank you. You have to understand, Rangers social media, the fanbase. All throughout this playoff run you kept hearing "2011", "Game 6", "One strike away", "2 outs 2 strikes"; 2011 left the entire fanbase with trauma. I don't know of there's something comparable in other sports. After last night that pain is gone. The highlights of game 6 don't hurt. It's just an incredible feeling of elation and sweetness. Born in the 90s growing up the Rangers were awful, it was a way of life. You rooted for them but the World Series, the playoffs even, it wasn't for them. Then 2010, 2011, hope. 2011 felt like destiny only to have it torn away in the worst way possible, followed by years of more pain. Now, now the fanbase is just elated and celebrating. I have noticed DBack fans have been classy. And I recognize the hurt in your manager's voice. Be proud of yalls run. Like the Rangers, no one expected yall. We were both at over 100 losses in 2021, we made everyone respect us as we won pennants. Thank you for putting Filthydelphia in their place, they acted as though they were entitled to a WS. I love yalls talent, and you manager. Be proud of your team, they're going to be fun to watch for awhile, and like the Rangers, have made a climb that should inspire everyone 🫡🫡🫡🫡

I'm seeing a lot of class from Diamondback's fans, and it's great to see. Here's hoping for continued success in the NL West.

As much as I was saddened at the end of the World Series, I will be forever proud of this Diamondbacks team and the run that they went. If I can experience those memories again, I damn sure would. But in the World Series, we ran into a better team. But, I promise you this: One day, we will be back here planting our flag into the World Series map once again. But, congratulations to the Texas Rangers on winning your first ever title and welcome to the World Series Champions clubhouse. Honestly a hard World Series to be bummed about because both teams had something to cheer for. I don't care for the Rangers and was cheering for the Snakes but as a Giants fan I can be happy to see Bochy solidify his legacy even further, to see the best pitcher of the late 2010s get a ring, to see the criminally underrated Marcus Semien get a ring and maybe have a foot in the door for a HoF legacy, there's guys all over to root for.

As a Texas Rangers fan since I was a little kid I remember 2010 and 2011 so vividly and all the pain that came with it afterwards. Watching the Astros win a title kept adding to that pain and I genuinely though we would never see a championship but thankfully in 2023 BABY WE DID IT!!!

Congratulations to the Texas Rangers win their first ever World Series. Also hats off to Bruce Bochy coming back to once again manage another team to their first World Series. He did it with the San Francisco Giants back in 2010 against the same team he beat and now helped win their first championship in franchise history.

they also won it on the same day (11/1), won the same amount of games in the regular season + playoffs (103), and now have the same amount of playoff wins that the SF Giants had between 1958-2010 (34).

As a Giants fan, I saw the emotion from my dad in 2010 when San Fran won it for the first time since the 50s. After that he told me he’d root for the Rangers and any other teams we beat in the World Series knowing how it felt in 1989 and 2002 to lose to the As and Angels. Seeing Bochy win his 4th with specifically the Rangers is so poetic to me, and I congratulate all Rangers fans who see this. I’ve always felt a good coach is more important than a star player, and Bochy proved that with Texas. Maybe the Giants getting Bob Melvin could produce a similar boost in production. I can only hope.

I am a Lifelong Giants Fan like you. I HATE the Cardinals, Hate the As(Because I KNOW they Roided up like Crazy in 1989, that was OUR World Series) and I HATE Tony LaRussa with a Fiery passion. 2002 deflated me for so long and made me despondent when Dusty fell short in delivering us the Crown.(Which is why I was happy he did it for the Astros in 2022) But 2010 lifted my Spirits. I was a 27 year old at the lowest point of my entire life and it felt good seeing the Giants win it all. 2012 took me completely by Surprise and the NLCS was a Joy to watch as we AVENGED the Rangers by kicking the Cards asses. 2014 also brought me elation. Bochy worked his magic in 2023. He's got a Medias Touch. Those Three Rings we got are proof of that.

It's such a joy seeing videos like these, seeing LoFs end. Makes me feel happy for the fans of these teams. I even loved it when Tree made one for my Blues.

As a Cardinals fan, ever since we won the 2011 World Series I have been rooting for the Rangers on the sidelines. I felt bad for the Rangers because I understood how truly devastating that lost might have weighed on their fans. This was well earned. Respect the Texan.

As a Giants fan, I felt bad for them in 2010, so I rooted for them in 2011. After David Freese happened, I had a soft spot for them ever since. Now watching them win it all, with Bochy funnily enough, it brings a smile to my face. Congrats Rangers, you more than earned it

I actually cried when we got the final out. I have been a fan for 15 years, waiting to get back for over a decade. One of my teams finally wins a championship. Congrats, Rangers, I knew you guys had it in you.

Words can't express the emotions i felt last night seeing us finally capture a title. 2011 will always hurt. But it hurts that much less now. The failure is over, the Rangers are champions!

It'll add to the Cowboys 5 championships, Stars and Mavericks 1 championship. All 4 Dallas franchises has championships and 3 of them after the Cowboys last win in 96.

Something about these videos, the ones that truly show the pain and futility of being a fan of your favorite team, showing the pain and misery of cheering for a team with little success, and finally being rewarded for it with the title must be euphoric. I'll likely never see my team win a title in any league, i've accepted it. but one day, I hope tree makes a video on mine, like he did today for you, rangers fans. Enjoy this one, it's gotta feel amazing.

I hope someday to see a similar video for the Lions soon. Congrats Rangers. Always good to see that first big win for any team.

As a St. Louis Blues fan, 2019 felt this way too. It's been 4 years and it still feels surreal

My uncle was a scout for the rangers and cardinals in the 90s. Glad I got to see both win championships.

This video made me tear up. I was 12/13 when the rangers lost back to back years in the WS and I was the biggest fan as a kid. Seeing these clips really brings back the heart break. Glad our boys finally got one!!

As a kid, those two teams felt so different and so surreal. It was truly heartbreaking seeing the likes of Kinsler, Hamilton, Napoli, Beltre, and Andrus and how they came up just short. At the time, it felt like they HAD to be the team to break the curse. And to a certain extent they were. Being the first team to win a playoff series and make it to the WS. But to come up short was nothing short of gut wrenching.

The Texas Rangers won a championship before the Dallas Cowboys could win in the 2nd round of the Playoffs since their last Super Bowl

I didnt think I would cry. One of my last conversations with my grandmama was her telling me that my grandpa got us tickets to see them back in 2011. The 2010s were rough after we had multiple post seasons failures. I even saw the rise of the Astros. Seeing them win was bitter sweet. But now, I finally get to see my favorite baseball team win it all, even after it seemed like they couldn’t win anything last year. This year, I get to say I’m PROUD to be a Rangers fan. Victory has never been sweeter

2023: the Golden Knights, Nuggets and Rangers all won their 1st titles, all of those finals series won in 5 games... what a year!

This is more than just erasing a "Legacy Of Failure." This is vindicating years of having been baseball's punching bag. There's little doubt there are certain teams, especially in baseball, the national sports media never want to see win, but the Texas Rangers were another level with them. Always hated for being the team that "took the nation's pastime out of the nation's capital" for about 35 years. Ridiculed for playing their first 20 years in an expanded minor league park. And yes, having to spend their entire existence buried in football country. You can't convince me otherwise that the arrogance of the Cowboys and their fans gave the rest of the world disdain for Dallas and it trickled down to dislike of everything else here. This - the Rangers FINALLY coming out on top... this throws all that back in their face. This cannot be taken away. I won't be surprised if in the next few months ESPN and everyone else will do what they can to dismiss the value of what has happened. It doesn't matter. They can't take away the trophy, they can't take away the pennant. This is finally our moment. And everyone else has to accept it.

@@ghosttiger84 When they spent all that money, I thought it wasn't going to work. It was going to be 2001 all over again. But I eventually realized: Corey Seager is not Alex Rodriguez. Chris Young did his homework and went after people who had been there, who knew what it takes to win a World Series. And it paid off. Look, teams SHOULD be spending money. A team that refuses to invest like the As refuse to do no deserve to win. But you still need to spend smartly on the right talent - or else you get the New York Mets.

They finally end the cycle of being the little bro's to the Astros. Honestly funny how this entire season went on. Fighting for the top seed of the al west, getting one of the two best pitchers from the same Source as the Astro's, then facing each other and defeating them in the alcs and finally getting their first ws title as a franchise.. Forget Red Sox Yankees rivalry. This was the best rivalry of this year. The big Bro who cheated, then legitimately secured a world series title and the little bro with a chip on their shoulder at being overshadowed and wanting to prove their worth to the world. As much as I wanted them to lose because my team lost to them (O's). I have to admit that it's one of those things that you just can't make up. Baseball is chaos. One of the best things about it.

I don’t even like baseball and I’m from NYC, but this made me emotional. Using the theme from my favorite movie definitely played a part in that. I also respect that there was no voiceover, because nothing you could say here would tell the story as well as the emotion of the fans and players does.

The montage before this years World Series highlights, is why this is so satisfying for myself and fellow Rangers fans.

This made me cry no Bs. We’ve been through so much, it’s such a blessing to be here. God bless the Texas Rangers, THIS IS WHAT WINNING FEELS LIKE!!
