    I love my machine. I keep it very clean by emptying the lint and wiping out any excess water after each load. She's running like a dream and super efficient. I do however always include the "More Dry" function.

    So This unit uses a 3rd of the energy as a reg. washer and dry set dose, which is good. If you want to spend less with the power company, but it take a longer to do one load. Standard set up is 1.5 to 2 loads in the same time as 1 load your set up.

  • @0hypnotoad0

    @0hypnotoad0

    The fact that you can run loads overnight with this essentially invalidates any speed gains that you might make with a standard setup. With this you could do one load in the evening and then put one in before you go to bed, with no time spent swapping loads between the machines. On paper the manual setup is faster, but in practice the automatic wash-dry switch offers a huge advantage in your time management since you don't need to be awake or around to move the loads. This machine is basically the definition of "work smarter not harder"

    When it's working right. We brought one. It worked great for three weeks. Now we have to hang our clothes out to dry or go to the laundromat. GE sent out a tech that had never seen one of these machines. He had to call the manufacturer to find out how to work on it. Then his dispatcher said they could come back out in a month. It is junk.

    I have one and hate it, when it goes into a spin cycle it is very loud and will give you a headache. a large load will take about 4 hours, plus if something goes wrong you have to call a refrigeration repairman to fix it since it also uses freon.

    You have to understand that this is not connected to a 240 outlet but a regular 120 wall socket. Don’t be quick to dismiss something because it’s new and you don’t understand it yet. This also saves a lot on electricity.
