This is one of my favorite PAS videos. It’s not overly produced with music. There is so much information. I love how he gives tips on growing about different plants. Awesome job. I wish all his videos were like this one!
Your work is a thing of beauty Allen. I have been inspired by your gardens for a long time! This video is one of my favorites.
I could listen to Mr Smith talk all day long. I’m thrilled that he plants purple silver white and peach like I do.
P Allen, you're a glorious teacher. Thank you❤
I really appreciate you doing this KZread channel. Your series’ have never been available for me to watch on broadcast TV in my part of the country. I discovered you a few years ago thru episodes that had been uploaded to KZread. It’s nice to be able to learn from you, enjoy horticulture w/you on this platform. I was very happy when I realized that this is actually your KZread channel! Thank you for broadening your audience!

Thank you for watching! 💚
Your videos are so instructive that I watch a second time with a sketch pad because I can see how your ideas can work in my own garden space. I learned so much from your Garden Home book (still a go-to reference book for me!) and the videos just add a whole new layer of ideas. Really love the longer format videos!
I just planted a few wisteria trees last year. I kept one in my house is still alive, thank God. I cannot wait until my are as beautiful as yours. Love your garden and videos, thank you.
I love ALL The Hollar Homestead videos!
One of these days we will make it. Your home gardens are exquisite
His home and gardens are beautiful. 💓💞❤️
Holly is a smashing idea. Bees love it?! You are a darling man. Pink parrot tulips! A new one for me to seek out: Shubertii allium. The fragrant flowers like those while lilles and Cornelia roses must be something to make it all worth while. Thank you so much.
Wow!!! Heaven on earth !!!!🌷💐💕🌷🧚🏾♀️💐💕✨✨🌟🌟🌟💐💐
Absolutely stunning. I hope to come see you next year. I’m in Louisiana and absolutely have zone envy I love love love peonies.

Chartreuse and purples have long been my favorite combinations. I have my vitex shoal creeks that you informed me about and they are enduring the rains on my patio until the ground dries out a bit. I’ve found they like to be kept dry! I wrap them in plastic to keep them from getting soggy roots. The rain in Missouri has been epic! My back porch is full of seedlings, rootings and new plants that are patiently (they are-I’m not😉) awaiting their entry into the garden and the yard! One good thing about the rain, my hydrangeas (Annabelles, Incrediballs, limelights) are enormous! Thank you for sharing the breathtaking grounds of your home! 👍☺️☺️☺️
Wow, your garden is simply beautiful. So much thought to detail this could be right out of the English countryside. I can't believe you established this in such a short period of time. I have learned a lot from your videos. Thank you.
There just are no words 😊 just one super happy place to be. What a great vacation place to visit. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The structure of the Vitex is as beautiful as the flower. 🤩
I enjoyed this video sooo much. I’ve been watching u for years and always learn something new. U have a gorgeous home/ farm. Tku for sharing!! 😊😊
Love, love, love! More garden tours please.
What a fantastic and beautiful tour! Someday I want to visit in person!
Just hang the bloom back on the tree lol @ 4:40 Glad to find P. Allen Smith on KZread, used to see his show all the time.
I love lovee how you hang the wisteria bloom back on the tree hahaha
You are a real American treasure P. Allen Smith. My heart fills with happiness and delight to see your ode to Fall with your building of the pumpkin house and your love for your 100 plus year old fig tree. I am gonna make it for a visit one of these days. You are doing such important work for Mother Nature and you are such a wonderful ambassador for the state of Arkansas. I am here roasting in Florida longing for cooler days. Your weather is probably changing there already. I'll have to wait another month or so. Oh well, winter will be so nice when it gets here! I love your videos and I catch you via WUCF, our local PBS station here in Central Florida on Saturday mornings. I hate to miss it and look forward to see what you're up to.
Butterfly Rose !!!! Gonna run that one down ! I love ANYTHING that blooms May to November. Thanks Allan !!!!!! Awesome tour !

Right? No yellowing leaves whatsoever
I see so many farms looking good but never great. I have never understood why farmers never develop more of their land like your flower gardens. I think they grind so hard trying to live they actually forget to live. Good show. Thank you for the tour to understand slowly how you put it all together.
Your Wisteria trees are stunning, I absolutely love them.
Have been in love with moss mountain farm since the beginning. Love the entire project. Hoping to be able to visit before I leave this world. What a fairyland place for a hobby farmer/ gardener such as I was. Thank you. Looking forward for more garden tours.
Absolutely gorgeous! Hard to believe it's 12 years since you built your home! Thanks for sharing.
Great format!! Thank you for sharing!!
Your garden inspire me everyday! Thank you🙏
I just love all of your tours of Moss Mountain Farm. All the sections are very planned out, which brings me to a point that I wonder if others would like and that is longer sustained drone footage of the entire property. It really helps to see the whole property so you get concrete images of design and layout. I am always collecting ideas while working on my own, rather substantially sized yard.
This is wonderful! Please keep doing these tours!!!
Thank you for the tour. Your place is gorgeous!

Thank you for bringing us such beauty
Love 💕 your beautiful garden tours, they lift me up and motivate me to do better in my garden!!!! Thank you so very much!!!
Bravo! Mr. Smith this made my day! I really enjoyed your explanation of the outdoor rooms. I am an avid gardener (due in large part to growing up with you on t.v.) ,however I am far from a garden designer, lol. It's so nice to understand a bit of the "whys" of garden design.
Magnificent garden layout with so much versatility, growth and beauty. Loved every second of the garden walk. Thanks for sharing.
Love the farm. Thank you so much for sharing it. I
Love your videos. The joy you have in explaining plants makes me want that plant. Thank you
Such a beautiful place I wish I lived there ✌
You should include an art history feature in your regular television shows. I enjoyed your discussion about the contrasts between the pre- and the post-Industrial age in public garden design. This was informative as well as significant to my understanding of the roles of gardens and the use of color. I also enjoyed seeing the garden art installations. Also feature more garden art. Thank-you for introducing us to Crystal Bridges!
Love what you have done with Moss Mountain Farm.

Just great! Now I need to visit every month of the year to see all the flowering plants! That's a long drive to make from NC to Arkansas!
Love your garden tours!
Thank you again for this great tour, you really do brighten one’s day ❤️
I'd LOVE to visit when the daffodils are in bloom! I have muscadines trained on a large trellis, they make wonderful jelly. As a fellow bee keeper I appreciate you mentioning that we all need to help out the honeybees. Thanks for the tour it's all gorgeous!

Love your Gardens.
Glad you said somewhat- regarding the Alliums - Mine are dwindling. They are SPECTACULAR... will be adding dozens this fall.
Learning so much from your wonderful videos! Fabulously beautiful gardens! TY.
Simply Amazing.
BEAUTIFUL
Best scent ever I absolutely love wisteria!
Amazing garden. A real knock out.
Wish I was there! My sister and I visited Moss Mountain Farm last spring. Loved, loved it! Absoulty loved it! You where in Springfield Mo. for their Home and Garden show last year, and really enjoyed your program. Thank you, thank you, for the info on the wisteria vine. I've had one for more years than I care to count, but it would never bloom. Followed you for years, enjoy every show. I'm a hydrgea lover, all because of your shows. Plan on returning to Moss Mountain this fall to see Moss Mountain in the fall.
YOUR GARDEN IS SO ENCHANTING AND BEAUTIFULLL!
Excellent tour Allen thank you for sharing 🙂.
absolutely beautiful! great design!
Such beautiful gardens
Stunning
I have some serious garden envy...your garden is lovely!
Awesome video. Covers so much.
This Cornelia sounds like a working rose. You can make a raw poultice with the petals by adding petroleunm jelly, lard, shea butter, oil etc and keep in the freezer or add vinegar and just keep root cellar cool.
I love your videos.
Love this !
you are inspiring. thank you for the video.
Love the tours.
Finally retired from teaching math and science this year! I'll be at Moss Mt. this summer! Can't wait!
Thank you.
Beautiful garden

Beautiful and informative! I kept wanting to see a bench that people could sit on and admire the views! But I guess you want to keep visitors moving or they would never leave. 😂
Great video love the pollinators plants
Absolutely beautiful garden .I wish one day would come and visit your farm .Thanks for showing your farm through a lens of the camera .

Ooo you are going to binging for days😁
Thanks for the tour. Very inspiring with good garden design tips. Another plant bees are attracted to is Japanese quince. They bloomed very early in my former garden in the mountains, much before the rest of the plants, and the bees were busy on them every day!

Thank you
I just love you tours Allen! Since many people can't travel this year will you do a summer garden tour for us? !!!
love it
très jolie,i love
I love all your videos and if I could make a special request, I would love a video tour and episode on your beautiful green fence!
Awesome
nice garden my friend
What a beautiful garden! I'm in zone 10,so many of these flowers would not work here.
I agree with you about the butterfly rose, it is a gorgeous shrub rose beloved by the bees, but in my moist climate, I garden on a hillside in Tacoma WA, it grows quite large, about 5 feet tall so maybe it is more compact in a southern climate?
