Really helpful, i am 44 but got hooked on to FPS after son started playing kill zone mercenary on ps, then got a xbox and started with BF5, i was kinda good at kzm but here in BF the problem i face is i just not able to see enemies quickly, and by the time i see tham they have already had a couple of shorts at me... Lol.... And by the time i am and shoot m dead, i understand that my reflexes are slow as when I see my kid play there is a vast difference in his style and mine.... But these tips are really helpful..... Will try to implement this....

the reason crosshair placement is so important is a direct consequence of the game's response curve where quick adjustments are too risky to do with your camera either undershooting or overshooting

crosshair placement is important in every game not just BF5. But on BF5 you have to rely on the AA helping you for the quick adjustments

Heу Jordy! Your playstyle is excellent! One thing I often notice is when an enemy is around a corner and you can't see him, why is he already immediately marked when you run around the corner? Why is this happening? To mark an enemy, I have to stare at him like a naked supermodel :)) Does it have something to do with ping? And sometimes they kill me already after I hid around the corner as if the bullets were punching through the wall. I don't have ping below 85.

The spotting could just be luck or if they are suppressed or spotted. For being shot around corners, it happens to everyone, its just a thing that will always happen in battlefield

Just coming to this video now. Jordy, imma noob 😅 You spoke about practicing straffing when aiming on the pole but it didn’t look like you were straffing L&R.. or am I wrong? It’s only that I’ve only recently learnt about straffing & im struggling 😅

its more strafe left and try to keep your aim on the pole. Or just strafe in any direction and do the same

I’ve played in 90 fov the last 6 months . Should I increase to 105 to decreasing my visual recoil ? I’m worried my sensitivity and muscle memory of my hipfire and Ads will be ruined by the change

What type of ping do you get?

@Jordy I've seen a lot of videos. From maxiq and broken machine e.g. I'm level 500 better than you in at least one thing. 😘🤪😜 But I still love your gameplay and especially your typing videos you never stop learning. Always have to translate everything. How do you spot the enemies with 105 FOV. I have a high end monitor with a 1000 setting. But still found nothing to improve visibility. I play normally with 95 FOV, which is very borderline with the detection of the enemies. I also tested 105 FOV, clearly no more recoil. but I can't see the enemies in the distance. Have now played 2 days with FOV 70 just for fun. Nice how you can see everything frontally, but the recoil. Can then only tap on distance. Please continue every video gets a like. Just fun to see you. Please always upload a complete round. Always watch the live stream. But I don't have the time to watch it directly because I usually play it myself. Oh one more thing, thanks for always replying to the comments. That's as good as none of the YT.

Jealous of the lvl 500 xD Thanks for the kind words, means alot :) I don't know how I see enemies with a high FOV, I have just got used to it at this point. Knowing me, I probably sit a bit too close to the monitor, so maybe that's why...

What are your settings in Call of Duty?

i run 17/11 on controller with dynamic curve then 3.86 with 1200dpi on mouse
