Sometimes the mode will track unlocks etc. other times it doesn't. This is not in my control and up to DICE. My best assumption is that it is rate limited or being throttled, so it might start tracking unlocks up until a certain point and then stop for a while.

The only way to fix this is to separate Consoles from PC. Or just matchmake with input only. Trying to tune gunplay in this game is a nightmare due to The inclusion of Crossplay outside of Consoles.

so at 1:16 I said you can get unlocks. I did testing twice for this and will test it further, but the first time it did the weekly challenge, some attachments and XP. The second time I just got some XP. So I am most likely wrong, but who knows, it's 2042 after all Let me know what your experience is.

hei jordy so i've seen one of this video about controlling recoil, so this user using vertical zoom ration, by increasing it, it makes thing easier for control recoil even when you stand shooting ofc the cons is that you have to get used to for the vertical aiming. i tried it and it is really easier to control recoil. maybe wanna check up for some other time? great tips video as always

yeah vertical aim ratio is good for that. It just massively affects your aim and takes a long time to get used to

My “slight” adjustments while aiming are always to far in front or back no matter the sensitivity I just suck and it is so frustrating to be in the perfect flank or position cuz I just know to get around the map and then sell and miss every shot and die and go 7 for 25

Use a steelseries arctis pro and I normally use 3d headphones on battlefield, unless it sounds bad

I have been playing this title since day 1… with each patch it seems that something changes in the aiming system and it is an impossible and also quite shameful thing…. not to mention the huge input lag defect on the controller I don't understand how it is possible that to date it hasn't been solved yet, I tried to lower deadzone increase the uniform aim coefficient I changed 2 pads I took a Scuf… but nothing at all then add a ridiculous aim assist and it's a disaster… unfortunately players like me who play at high sensitivities are extremely penalized by all this but DICE doesn't care!

@@Jordy1-1 you can use the regular "Nonam3's aimtrainer" you can then choose serval modes once you're ingame. there is a Gridshot mode and you can enable moving bots and even choose what speed they should move etc.

Happens to me a lot. I've spawned in the home base, behind a hill, and right away start swapping attachments. I've had people start bullet hozing me but hit the hill 'cuz they probably didn't realize I was behind it. Pretty obvious ESP hacks sometimes since there's no way I was spotted by anyone. Lots of people are running Cronus Zen or similar devices, too, but I don't think there's ESP scripts for that...

It feels so janky to aim and track targets at long ranges on console. The portal weapons feel the worst. Idk why they haven’t fixed this yet because it’s the first thing any new players will notice. Maybe they can’t fix it for some reason?

I cannot track targets horizontally for the life of me. Its insane how bad they messed this up and Im convinced its an engine issue they cannot fix. They used an un-optimized mess of an engine to make this game and the aiming feels like a floaty crappy PC port.

The aiming in 2042 still does feel like you’re fighting the aim assist and the input itself definitely feels “off” compared to other FPS games and specifically other BF games.

I know it's even worse for controller players but even on PC the mouse input still feels really bad most of the time.

Its improved but still off cant micro adjust or aim precise. Dice should look at aim settings and make sure the ratios correct and fine enough. Another thing System Latency effects your aim so should be improved to help fix this issue. Server at times is out of sync making the network latency pull your aim around.

For strafing on 2042 yes. I don't have aim assist snap on, so lightly tapping L2 won't do anything. Plus I can play mouse soooooo 🤷‍♂️
