Back when EA cared about lore in their worlds and gave EVERYONE a bio. However, they stopped after the release of Sunlit Tides and beyond since all of the Sims had the same biography.

Lucky Palms is the peak of unexpected pregnancy My sim was dating Yolanda and got her pregnant but i didn't saw her for a couple of days and when i tracked her down, found out she lived in a big mansion with a guitar shaped pool and was with a baby. Got so happy but confused because he didn't appear in my family bio. Turns out she was already pregnant when i got to know her from one of her many ex After that she got pregnant with my baby... Lina and Lola were her besties. Also, the father of Yolanda's baby was my sims boss and best friend

The secret of Sims 3 cool buildings was the create a style tool to make the colours and textures match, nonexistent in Sims 4.

Sims 2 had no almost furniture variety, all my houses looked the same! (Not talking about downloadable content, that doesn’t count). Sims 3 gave us a lot more variety and the possibility to customize colours and patterns like never before. Sims 4 left a lot to be desired, and our ability to customize was taken away. It resembles the Sims 2 a lot more. Well the game in general was very lacking tbh

It’s funny to me that Lola is a Kleptomaniac because she do be stealing husbands 😂😂

Another dirty little detail: Lola, the mother, and Lina, the daughter, were involved with the same man - this presents an opportunity for another drama.

Eli and Lina could be also a reference on the novel Lolita. Vokoban spelled backwards is Nabokov, which is the last name of the author.

I think Nick is the father of Lina because her hair color is similar to Holly Alto’s, it’s a flimsy theory but it’s cool to think about (Edit: I spelled Lina’s name wrong lol) (Another edit cause I just thought of this; maybe Daniel Pleasant should join the pieces of s*** club)

You really should check out Lennon Sosa. He's also ex's of Lola and Yolanda only Yolanda is preggos with his child. I always imagined with his "Dislikes children "trait he found out the childish Yolanda was pregnant and broke up with her because of it ,course doesnt help she's flirty and in my games if it breathes and walks she's always try to make a pass with whoever she can. lmao

You should also do the supernatural pack world. I swear every single person in Moonlight Falls has commitment issues and all of the ladies feel neglected by their husbands...cough(not enough woohoo) cough. The men all cheat especially Dante Morgan.

Honestly one of the most saddening parts of this story is that if you look at the ages of each parent and child, most of these people had their kids as either teens or very young adults. Particularly Emi, in order for her to be a mid young adult with a (nearly) teen daughter she would have almost certainly been a teenager when she got pregnant, effectively trapping her in a bad relationship. That can’t have helped with her mental issues

damn i miss when EA made meaningful stories for the townies...

I keep wondering if the reason Lola lives in such a poor area is because her house was once the very theatre she worked at and that she used everything she had to buy it when the place shut down. It could be for sentimental reasons or maybe there's some ulterior motive that ties in with her gold digging ways 🤔🤔 Great video as always!

Lucky Palms is my favorite neighborhood to play in. Its layout is super cute and clean.

Ok, there is huge drama, but I LOVE Lola's house. That theater look is really pretty

You know, something has been tucking my leg about an experience I had in Lucky Palms. So basically all of the dead sims of lucky palms were all living in a house together, in human form, no ghost doing normal Sim things… dancing swimming, all of it. Even visiting downtown. They were of course grayish in skin color though. The house was named after the Tanner family household but it had no description. The crazy thing is I have literally all of the mods, but when I tried to play the household it would not let me play the household what so ever! Sadly, the game crashed in the middle of me playing, and because it was my first time playing the town I had no previous saves. So in the new game, this DID not happen. Is this supposed to happen? Or is this some creepy glitch?

i think it’s just a very creepy game malfunction, as the same exact thing happened to me! after downloading multiple mods into my game for the very first time, every new game i started, all the ghost sims in the world would be spontaneously revived and moved into a random house all together, or two households if there were too many of them, like in twinbrook. lol i first knew something was fucked up when i saw lolita goth up and about in sunset valley. my best guess is that it was caused by an nraas mod like possibly story progression or porter, as i got rid of all my mods and i think those are the only two i haven’t redownloaded yet, and ive never had the glitch happen since. maybe just some obscure default setting with one of the mods that needs to be changed, even. im more inclined to blame story progression since it would also immediately try to give the revived sims jobs, lol. possibly the creepiest part is that after a few weeks in-game time, in my sunset valley save, all the “revived” sims just quietly went back to their graves one night, and became ghosts again. like, it’s kind of a relief that the problem fixed itself, but it’s pretty messed up that all those sims had to die twice :^(

1. Don, Reuben and richard should start the douchiest boy band 2. I always figured lucky palms was based on Las Vegas, especially since the casino store content was meant to fit in there 3. Lola’s story is based on the song “Copacabana” which is worth a listen, as it goes through her story and is very dramatic 4. Lucky palms is great for celebrities and showtime performers, since some of the showtime lots fit in with the world fairly easily

Am I the only one who thinks Eli is shady? He outlived 3 wives and twice as many mistresses… that means he outlived 9 women and now he’s with the 10th. If it said that he HAD 9 exes, that would be okay, but they didn’t break up, they died… what are the chances that all 9 of your exes just happen to die…?

The Sim nation is not the USA, because it’s free to have a baby at the hospital. I will admit we have Medicare and medicade but those are for the poor or old, and in the Sims 3 you don’t have to be rich or poor to have a baby at the hospital for free. The former monarchy lives in sim nation. We were controlled by the monarchy but never were a monarchy, as well as we have no monarchy still living in the country.

Did she say it _was_ the USA? I figured she'd said it was based on the USA, which seems to be true of the majority of worlds throughout The Sims series, but I also may have misheard/not been paying close enough attention. I've always imagined the entire Sims universe being its own thing- usually inspired aesthetically by America, but not actually America or anywhere else in the currently known world. It's _way_ too utopic to be anywhere on Earth, lol

Man, they put sooooo much effort into the bios of these Sims. :P

Lola is a reference to the song Copacabana by Barry Manilow. The song is about a showgirl named Lola who is in love with her coworker Tony, a rich guy named Rico starts pushing himself onto Lola and Tony starts a fight with him, ending with Rico shooting Tony and Tony dying. Lola stays at the copacabana even as it becomes a disco and she is now an alcoholic pining for the old days. I think this totally fits Lola Lancasters story, if she married Rico but she killed him because she hated him.
