@@KailashCiaran arguably you could say that the Wolffs used to be architects (or at least Dwayne could have been) I mean it makes sense that eventually he (after quite a few years of work) heard about what the Van-Gould’s were doing and decided to go into politics (also I imagine he actually did work on the jobsites hence why he is somewhat muscular (likely in addition to him being a werewolf)

Me watching this video: God, there's a lot of drama here surrounding the married couple and mother in law, their kids probably don't play a huge part in this. On of the kids: literally wants to become an evil witch and take over the world

Rick: I love my wife and kids, but that...thing (looks over at Doreen glaring at him) scares me.

i once had the durwoods have a third child, to say his hearing abilities were spectacular compared to his siblings is an understatement.

In my game, I made Doreen cast the love charm on Rick in order to make Serena catch him with another woman and divorce him. For those who don't know, the first Sim that the Sim under the spell interacts with (as long as they are the same lifestage and not blood related), they fall in love with and instantly become romantic interests. It backfired, because the first Sim that Rick interacted with turned out to be Doreen. Family reunions are so awkward now.

Ah yes, the jealous mother-in-laws around this one game xD

When I first played with this family I instantly knew they were based off Bewitched and I was in love

I remember I was playing with the Wolff family one time and they were at the bar and for whatever reason Derrick was in his werewolf form and he has this unhinged terrified look on his face because I made a sim version of Dracula that got bite bitten or drank something that made him a zombie and it was hilarious. Doreen was also at the bar and her colors made me think she was looked a grumpier old hag version of Daphne from Scooby Doo.

That is an amazing house! So stunning!!! I had no idea that this family existed and I the family name being Durwood is my FAVORITE. Serena was also the name of Samantha's cousin who visits throughout the series (played by same actress)

Thats a beautiful library and sun room ❤️ I love the Bewitched theme going on and always loved the nose wiggle that Samantha does with her powers. Poor Rick :( The goodfellows need to be stopped. Please someone stop them. I dont like them at all.

I love your lore videos. It's crazy how much I learn, I had no idea that Flora had so much influence over the lives of so many sims! She's nearly at the end of her life when you first play, but she pretty much already influenced everyone either directly or indirectly lol I knew the sims 3 was really detailed with its stories, but the attention to detail you taught me about is really amazing

Your commentary on Flora is giving me life and making me want to play Moonlight Falls so I can set things right for some of these poor families

This was my favorite house in The Sims 3, so I always kicked the Durwoods out and moved my own sims into their house. I liked the house so much that I saved it and would put it in random worlds to play with.

There are two things I think are a light reference to another show about Witches. The style of the house and the name of the Daughter. Sabrina the Teenage Witch was a popular show in the mid 1990s. The name isn't the same, but a long withe the Victorian house, I honestly feel like it was an intentional reference to that show.

A general unease about sims 4….. oh miss lore is a sassy queen, and I love it!

In one of my favourite sims 3 save (it sadly broke) I made an evil vampire who fell in love with Doreen. She took another elixir to become a young adult again and he than turned her into a vamp. Because they were both evil they invited Rick over and locked him in an unused room to starve him, but he wouldn’t because he’s a loser. So my evil sims autonomously came to him to scare or even beat him. Dorren and her new husband had some children who were thanks to the Nraas mod witch-vamp hybrids. I know this sounds kind of evil but I loved this save so much and I loved the story of two evil characters falling in love and being happy together

I like to think Doreen is that funny aunt that always existed in the Caliente family who pops in or shows up to some of random party and no one really knows how she's related to them. But she's so old that she check in on each generation to see the drama. She probably cackles with the mpreg stuff and scream laughed about it with the goodfellow's

I love bewitched so much and sims 3 never disappointed me!

Felt like this video had a lot of personality, was a very fun watch. Keep up the good work! Congrats on the wedding.

Rick for some reason used to reminded me of the ex australian prime minister Tony Abbott growing up, I have no idea why

Serena means calm in Spanish. This might be important because Doreen has a Spanish surname and she is a reference to Doreen Valiente, a medium married with a Spanish Republican. My theory is she married a relative of Dina and Nina, probably the granddaughter that got abducted by aliens. Doreen got jealous of his husband decided to have a baby from the space that wasn't hers and left him. She didn't have children yet, so she married a richer witch and built this house with the money earned though spells. Doreen is the most powerful witch in a combat and your witch Sim will learn very fast with her. In my gameplay, Doreen asks Serena to broke up with his husband to not live the same as her and marry and get impregnated by an alien. The baby was a witch, but he will inherit a nice UFO.

I felt warm and fuzzy toward my MIL for 12 years until she disowned her son (my hubs) and her five grandchildren (our kids). That was 20 years ago. She's been successful in turning nearly the entire family against us.

I've been waiting for your perspective on this Family. It's true that it is referenced on Bewitched. Personally, when I played this family, Doreen has many enemies because of her vanity and mean personality. She's enemies most specifically other witch families like Crumplebottom Sisters and the Macduffs. While Serena completed her wish because she befriended every powerful families in the game and happily spend her time a lot with her beloved Rick that usually use her spells to cure Rick's bad luck. While the twins is a little pain on the neck. Zach I used an elixir to make him a wizard and became an intelligent Wizard, but his twin sister Zoe became a rebellious child that usually earn the ire of her parents and wants to be mentored by Doreen, but Doreen keeps her knowledge to herself but encourage her granddaughter to what she wanted. Seriously if Serena is young I would totally have a crush on her.

First of all, congratulations on getting married soon! I hope everything goes well and I hope it’s very beautiful! :) Second, my names Serena, and it’s super weird to see or hear my name in anything since it’s not that common, and it’s cool that I share a name with a good witch in the Sims :D
