Sam always such a good sport. Never made it personal with Taz, it’s just business.

Taz: (gives Sam a letter and saying in gibberish roar, which I'll translate into English) Your friend sent me this letter for you. Sam: Let me see. (Taz gives him the latter from Ralph.) Ralph:(voiceover) Dear, Sam. I'm sorry if this is short noticed to ask Taz to cover for us. I'll cut this short, my wife and I are still stuck in the airport due to bad weather for the return home. Wile(Pronounced Wiley), talked to me the other day on virtual chat and he couldn't make it. He tore a clavicle during his last time working with you and asked our friend, George, to cover for him against the Road Runner in his cartoon. I'll keep you posted when weather conditions improve. Thanks for your patience and understanding. You're a real friend. Your pal, Ralph. PS, if weather conditions improve tomorrow, I'll let you know and will be home.

I almost thought he was actually gonna drop Taz down the cliff.

This is basically jim cummings talking to himself since he voices both characters

For a brief moment Taz succeeded where Ralph failed.

Not really if you actually rewatch Ralph did success sometimes if we count that he would steal the sheep not eat it

Sam referred to Ralph as a coyote, not a wolf.

I always thought literally Ralph Wolf could be a Red Wolf; despite the red nose. Irl the species tends to be mistaken for the eastern coyote, when the red wolf has the similar appearance.

@@Savagelobo It might be because Ralph's original design (different legs to avoid confusion with Wile E.) stopped being used, and Ralph ended up being more like Wile E with a painted nose.

@@robbiewalker2831 not to mention they’ve changed his eye color in his 4th short, Steel Wool (1957). Which after that in the later shorts.. his eyes remain white. Which I think it’s better to separate the character differences since Wiley can keep his yellow eyes, and as for Ralph they decide not only give him a red nose but also change his eyes into regular white with black dots ⚫️ .

It could be possible that Sam was referring to Wile E. Coyote. Since Taz git hired as a temp, it's possible that Wile E. also took a temp job.

I think it would have been funnier, as they were both leaving, if Taz had coughed up another sheep.

Why's Sam more active and more upbeat in his voice and all that?

This wouldn't be the only time Ralph Wolf got a replacement at work. Some years later, Daffy would replace him (with similar results than those of Taz) in the DC Looney Tunes comic "The Woolen Fill-In".

Nice to have a Taz-Mania episode fade to black.

I live in Australia too, Victoria to be exact.

An accurate depiction of if a real sheepdog were pitted against a real tasmanian devil.

I know Ralph it’s a wolf almost look like a coyote his cousin Wile e Taz to takeover

I'm impressed, Taz managed to have some 20 sheep in his gullet before having to give them up compared to Wiley barely got his paws on any of them. Love all the looney tools characters.

@@FeliDJrah thx . I was born in 1970 so i'm used to the old 50s and 60s ones voiced by Mel Blanc. Sometimes it's hard to tell if the cartoons are newer ones or the originals.
