You're right - though it isn't finished yet, I AM working on getting American Laser Games titles (Mad Dog McCree, etc) and Action Max games added. When I released this update, the folder stuck around from the debug version. Whoops. 😅

I first saw you talk about it on Patrion, but forgot about it until I did my Mod. I've not played many shooters, and You've added the ones I did play as a kid, BUT I've got to admit, I'm kind of excited for those new titles. The video quality for the time was too real.

It's amazing how the community breathes new life into these arcade cabs.

Thank you so much for these tutorial videos. When this amazing soft-mod was originally released, I was very excited to install it but it wasn’t until your video came out that I got the confidence to do so. I am very much a Noob when it comes to these mods and in general, always think I’m gonna jack up the cabinet somehow but due to the clear instructions on the Readme by Mysdirection and this video, I pulled it off without a hitch! So much fun to play my old Dreamcast games HOTD2 and Confidential Mission that I hadn’t played since college and I owe it to you both. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

By the way, I got everything working on the Simpsons cab mod except for two things- first, on four player games, sometimes the controls seem to stop working (the computer kind of takes over players 3 and 4 randomly). Also, none of the box art loads for any of the games. It did at one point and now it won’t, no matter how many times I tell it to. Any experience with those issues?

@jimfusco I'm assuming you followed may latest Simpsons Video. If so, become a Dev, and point all the folders in DIG and RetroArch to the external storage devices. Personally, I try and install on the USB drive, and I store images and roms on the SD card.

Seemed to install ok, only difference I found was that my cross hairs for my light guns disappear when I play a game...

Did you download the mod from the Achive or are you a Patrion? For this video I used version 1.0.1a. You may have been using 1.0.1

Roll Back is already out, BUT you have to be a Patrion to get access to it. I've also heard that a new update should be released very soon. 1.0.1a is what is shown in this video, the guns on the stock game of this version are still not working. I'm hoping in the next update that will be fixed.

I could not get Area 51 to work. Just goes to black screen when you click on it from the menu.

Archive. When those didn't work, I tried multiple other sites and the same issue. Literally cannot get a single rom to work. So It has to be something I'm doing wrong. I'll be happy with just time crisis lol
