The music along with the rest of the entertainment business doesn't discriminate against man, women, teenagers, children, race, sexual preference etc as long as received the vast majority of the profits.

The band names where like Cupid's Arrow and such with the requisite kiss(ey) faces/duck lips on the covers and such. Totally hilarious. They are eager for fortune and fame, they are young an naive and these predators know this and prey on them. Here's an example of what you are talking about: The 90s girl group TLC had a original member named Crystal. After she and her mother read the contract, they realised how bogus it was & how screwed over she would be. She refused to sign the contract and they replaced her with another girl, Chilli. After hitting it big, TLC were broke and completely screwed over, even though they had sold millions of records. After some lawsuits and restructuring their management, TLC eventually started earning Millions. So yes, TLC did get screwed at first for signing bad contracts, but they eventually got out of their hole. Meanwhile Crystal didn't get screwed from the contract however she didn't get to experience the fame and fortune that the other TLC members did.

And this STILL HAPPENS TODAY!!! In the kpop industry, these huge entertainment companies such as YG Entertainment, they make contracts with the stars and limit A LOT of their rights and freedom once that contract is signed. They force them into surgery, and later mistreated. Apparently, there’s also prostitution going on in that industry too. To get your name out there, the entertainment company wants and makes the singer create a solo song to help promote them etc. and often, the managers would not release the song unless they get a “favor” in return. A few days ago, an article just said how two HUGE artists G-DRAGON and TAEYANG who are under contract with YG need to renew their contracts of else they will get sued so they lose their rights to their artist name. The whole kpop industry has a whole other dark side to it that many people don’t know about because they enjoy the artist for their music and for who they are but little do they know... the amount of exploitation in that industry is insane.

Don't exaggerate nonsense. Today K-pop artist have to be free from surgery is a must as many people demands their their own celebrities with natural facial features. Also they have millions of earning in their own bank account. K-pop artist before 2012 were bad but now it has improved, the more popular they become. The rookie boybands are still treated badly although better than before

If you are signing a record deal/pub deal you BETTER get a lawyer. There is a short form contract and then a LONG form contract with TONS of legal jargon. The entertainment lawyer has to run the long form(100s of pages long) through software to look for ANY hidden language/keywords and then READ it themselves to PROTECT YOU.
