Pretty sure that's a magnifier. The red dot is on the receiver rail

@@lostpyper6973It’s a vortex red dot (I have one). It’s an old design optic but works well enough. There are better to buy now-a-days.

Just ran mine today at the range from a 24 inch 6.5 cm precision rifle direct thread long to a 14.5 ar 15 with a keymo adapter short config and the 556 end cap in literal seconds. Can does get hot but invested in one of those mechanix oven mits, so there was no time loss. Love this can. Great vid.

Good video thanks! I have one and wanted to let people know it's too fat to use on a pistol without a red dot. My suppressor height sights don't clear it's 1.57" diameter. I still like it and would buy it again. Used Silencer Shop, electronic fingerprints at one of their kiosks, photo from phone app, and eFile. Took right at 8 months.

My Omega 36M just came home with me after my FFL babysat it for eight months. Haven't had a chance to get it out on the range but happy to hear how excited you are about it! Was hoping you were going to blow up those pumpkins in the back of your pickup. Thanks for the video!

Hmmm looks the most compact option for 338 lapua rifle that I can see. I really dont want any more weight up front then necessary. And as you said it can get even shorter. I just want to go from muzzle brake to a suppressor, dB reduction is not most important. I guess this is the most compact option.

I just got my Hybrid 46M after waiting 12 months....7 days shy of a year, to be exact.

Just bought this today. Haven’t shot it yet. Hope it doesn’t take the 8-13 months I’ve heard of. Thanks for a GREAT video, that was very fun and informative.

Great video! I love my 36M. Partner it with a 46M and you literally have 2 suppressors that cover everything except for 50cal. One thing I’ve noticed is the 46M is a bit quieter than the 36.

Just bought this suppressor a few days ago. Should take possession of it come June or July of 2024. My first was a Silencerco Hybrid 46 that took 279 days beginning in November 30th, 2022. It finally got approved the day after Labor Day.

Just ordered mine. For .308 9mm rifle. 9mm Pistol and 5.56/223. Of course with all the adapter pistons etc. I got a free suppressor for .22

I love it!!! I like it so much because of all the options to put it on and off almost any gun (with the correct caps and adapters.) Its so much easier than buying 13 different cans for your guns! of course, more is better, but this is a really cool option.

The shell casings hitting the truck bed are louder LOL

The red dot may be in the wrong place, but he picked a good suppressor with exception of the compensator mount, should have been the flash hider mount. Flash is what gets you killed on the battlefield at night in most instances. SilencerCo also has a flash hider end cap both outside and inside versions. Additionally think about suppressor glow after a mag of ammo, think Manta suppressor covers. PS…flash mitigating end cap helps. SilencerCo has both external and internal flash mitigating end caps.

I just picked up the DDm4 300 and the omega 36m. Which flash hider or muzzle brake do you recommend? Also what is the thread pitch?

The Banish 30 by Silencer Central is multi caliber.

it's also able to be 7" or 9" BUT!!!! the Banish 30 won't do 9mm .300 WB down. 17 WMR - .300WB But still it's a great can. I have one.

Just ordered the 46M through Silencer Central, very helpful people over there! I can’t wait to take it to the range sometime next year lol

Biggest regret of my life is doing business with silencer central. It'll take 2 months after atf approval before the send it to you. Spent 6k with them and after they got the money all that helpfulness was gone.

@GrizzlyCompany hopefully you didn't buy the banish 30 gold. Proprietary muzzle devices that they charge way to much for and take 3 weeks to ship to you. And the sound suppression on 300blackout is horrible at best.

I have a maxim pdx 300 blackout and im waiting for my omega 36m currently, what caliber did you get for the muzzle break ?

That grin at the end of each shooting series sold me, that’s some pretty cool kit right there. After 40 years in the laborers union and now working in a gun shop, does everyone know that as of right now 5-2-2024? Turn -a- round on silencers, is one week???!!!!…. Get some!!! Nice review! Obsidian 45 with a 9MM cap will do the same for the money.

Mines still in jail since March.

Been wanting one for a while, I got the muzzle brake mounts for it for each of my rifles but..Out of stock, waiting until the Summer sale and will get one or two then.

It's strange how some people call items you're accustomed to, a different word. 🤔 Also, yes, the red dot was misplaced lol I got a ton of hate for that, and I just put those sights on before this video and didn't notice. It is a great overall suppressor and if you are only going to buy one and need the .223 to 9mm range then it’s a good buy. However if you only need 7.62 and 5.56 I would buy a flow through .30 cal can. Why…because this suppressor is a smoke show. It traps a lot of gas and will gas you out if you shoot a DI gun. On my AK it’s practically unshootable because of the gas coming back (and I wasn’t expecting that from a long stroke system). It’s also a ton of gas on my short stroke Sig. So…it’s a great can if you need the range of calibers but if you only need the .223 to 7.62 I would get a .30 cal flow through.

@@TRUTHandANSWERS Huxwrk, Sig, Daniel Defense, Silencer Co all make low back pressure cans in 7.62. There are plenty of options.

I really appreciated your video…why Buy so many CANS for all your guns especially considering your Tax Stamp …I feel like it’s a Winner….feel like it’s the Homeowners Can! Homeowners that shoot but not thousands of rounds a month. “Wish I Could!”

This comes with everything except the muzzle break that attaches to the barrel. You'll need to get that in order to attach it to your AR. It's about $110

The mag was empty, as you saw me loading the mag afterwards, and my hand never got close to the trigger, or was infront of the muzzle.

Not AS quiet, but it deafens the sound and you don't get the CRACK you do without one. BUT this isn't really intended for the 5.56. The .300 is where it truly shines

You shouldn't shoot with out the suppressor or the end cap of the barrel on it. The barrel is weakest at the threaded end.

I actually haven't done a zero test with the suppressor ... I usually just shoot steel for fun! Thats a great idea though!

Yeah the red dot on the Handguard made it pretty clear this dude has nothing useful to offer.
