Dee C Lee was previously in Wham before the Style Council - she appears in the video to Club Tropicana. Some people mistake her for her eventual replacement, Pepsi of 'Pepsi and Shirley' fame! She went on to have children with Weller.

You should check more of Paul’s solo stuff. Broken stones, Peacock Suit, changing man and wild wood are all classics.

Paul and Dee have two children together. Leah sometimes sings with Paul now but she tours on her own too. Nat was/is a model. Shout is one my fave TSC tracks. Love this reaction.

This was Weller's new image for his group after The Jam - a continental european, clean-living, soul boy-inspired aesthetic. The year this was released, 1984 (Orwell's year!) was the year of the Miner's Strike, a pivotal event in the history of the British Left. The murals shown throughout the video presumably depict this. A perhaps even more interesting video from the Style Council is that for their 1985 track Come To Milton Keynes - hard-hitting and hilarious at the same time!

Glad you enjoyed it I didn't like it much don't like the jam / style council though they are not up to my standards. Agree with Paul wellers political views though based on a 60 second video clip I saw of him recently.
