Morrissey - Kick the Bride Down the Aisle | Reaction! (Polarizing?)
From everything I've seen, this is one of the most polarizing Morrissey songs I've ever done. Its straightforward and serious lyrics leave you wondering why he's so mad. Is he talking about this specific bride or all brides? Is he intentionally trying to rile people up? Either way, I liked the dramatic shifts and the dreamy section. I love women. 🤓

In a few live performances around 2014/2015 he changed one line to « Kick the bride down the aisle/ back to the deli/ her world is her telly/her god is her belly » 😂😂
Morrissey was always poetic comedy. One of the greatest to do it. 👍

Moz presses buttons better than anyone.
M doing his bit for marriage counselling.the album is ten years old,the world was a different place a decade ago.the musicianship is really good on this.
One of the best in this album, I think. Love the dramatic feel.

Moz definitely has a misogynistic streak........which is odd, considering all the feminist literature he read as a teen. Regardless.......fairly average album track.

I once heard the time "Men's Lib" associated with Morrissey in the 80s. I think that there are types of women (and men) that he dislikes.
