I like videos of these, despite people might say its boring, and no excitement or catchy tune or phases, gimmicks. This takes me back to how History channels use to be when I watch them. Now, its just a bunch of crappy reality shows about the supernatural and aliens...not even about History anymore.

Ditto about History Channel. They should be required to change the name. It is false advertising. Thiis one is really good. I studied history in college, (50 years ago) heavy on medieval England. This is much better.

why do historians also say James 1st of England, when in fact he was already James 6th of Scotland when he took over England in 1603, the proposed framing is James 6th of Scotland & 1st of England correct?

Henry the 7th had a daughter Mary who married the king of Scotland and had Charles I. So he's the grandson of a former English king.

@@garethjones909 He never claimed to be King of Wales as Wales was not a kingdom. The Prince of Wales owed allegiance to his father the King of England, and Welsh law was superseded by English Law. I'm not commenting on what should have been, but what was, given the way that kingdoms worked.

The English did not recognize a Welsh kingdom and hadn’t do so for centuries. It was simply the “land” of Wales, merely a region of the English kingdom.

I don't have a problem or issue with Catholics, but with how invasive and forceful the Popes could be to monarchs under that religion, I don't blame a country for not wanting it for it's official religion.
