The passage read about leprosy being a punishment from God actually has nothing to do with leprosy. That comes from Isaiah 53 which is a messianic prophecy. Verses 3-4 (which were read) speaks of how the messiah would take on the sins of his people, and the following verses up until the end of the chapter only highly emphasize that point, it was a messianic prophecy about Jesus, not leprosy.

Are today’s depictions of Baldwin frowned upon by non-Christian groups due to the nature of the crusades and its divisions between Muslim and Christian faiths? I know while they were adversaries, Saladin did have great respect for Baldwin but is there a chance that Baldwin would be seen as xenophobic or Islamophobia today? I’m a teacher and would like to teach the crusades but want to be educated on this so that I do not offend other’s beliefs.

I really tried to watch the whole thing, but the fact that the images don't match the story makes a big difference. A lot of us have attention deficit and the droning of the narrator combined with the lack of relatable visual material makes this format untenable. I'd recommend looking at the story-telling format of Kings and Generals, which is much easier to follow along with since their visuals are telling the same story as the narrator.
