It gave me Wicked migraines for weeks. So consequently I could never use it. When my daughter got married, she used it but her husband said he didn't want her on after the birth of their child because it made her mood swings so bad and he had a struggle to help her. Also, she got pregnant on the pill so there is no point in taking it.

I put a quarter cup of vinegar in every load and that pretty much solver my problem! Easy and cheap. Also, when you’re not using the machine, leave the top open so it can air out

Yes! Leaving the top open completely fixed all smells for me. I leave it open for at least 12 hours after each load.

I will definitely try the vinegar trick! I always leave the lid open except during an active wash so I know it’s not the lid being closed. Hopefully the vinegar helps, thank you!

Hi Mindy! I had the same issue with washer. Here’s what worked for me: I ran it through a clean cycle and I leave the washer open and the top that slides in with detergent I pull out to leave open. When it’s shut I learned that creates mildew. I literally have a sticky note on my washing machine written by myself to myself that says LEAVE WASHER OPEN! 😂😅 hope that helps🫶🏼

To everyone who thinks it is 'ok' to question Mindy's parenting or what she does with her washing, seriously stop being so critical. I am actually amazed or disgusted by how judgmental you are. Good morning, Mindy. I found a great trick for smelly, funky washers; first do a bleach sanitizing wash with two cups of bleach and a scoop of detergent and the hot water setting. Run it on full heavy duty wash. Then keep it a practice to leave the door open after every wash so that the inside of the washer dries out and no mold and bacteria can grow, causing that dreadful smell. I leave the door open for a couple of hours then shut it later. Never had a funky washer smell since I started this method. Try a cupcake liner for your muffins next time for the sticking problem. I remember when you got the washer at the other house and the smell doesn't have anything to do with the age. It is from what you said about the wet laundry sitting abit. Plus you live in Fla.where it is already moist. Run a cycle of nothing but vinegar and water to give the washer a good cleaning then do your laundry the way you usually do. But try not to let the wet load sit very long before loading the dryer. Sometimes easier said than done. Hope this helps.

Get rid of the smell by washing at the highest temperature once or twice a week. I always wash my towels separately from other cloth this way and I never deal with smell.❤

I've been on birth control for the past 9 years just for preventing pregnancy, I never had issues with my period or anything, and I've never had any negative side effects from it luckily. I know that's not the case for everyone, even people who go on it for medical reasons, one of my friends went on it for medical reasons and it made her gain weight.

One of the easiest crockpot recipes is cubed steak, hamburger patties or a beef roast with a few cans of mushroom soup or beefy mushroom soup. Cover meat with the soup and cook on high for four hours. So easy and yummy. I hope you feel better soon. I’ve been in a slump the last few days and I hate that feeling.

Such a fun video, Mindy!! I would recommend cupcake liners or maybe rubbing butter to coat the pan for the muffins. You had mentioned that you can’t do eggs and maybe Liam has that same issue? Keep the lid up after washing, and even if you still have clothes in. It gets air that way and will never smell. I also do the clean button. If you don't have that button on your machine, put it on a regular wash. Use the packets or just vinegar is also good. Best of luck. I enjoy your videos.

I have a brand new set and yes it smells if left more than a couple of hours. I often use the delayed start setting if i know i cant switch it over quickly, so its not sitting as long waiting for me. Although if laundry is frequently left i could see how it may be worse. Definitely clean the washer with washer cleaner.

Mindy, about your washer - I recently watched a KZread video on cleaning your front loading washer. I don't have one but occasionally mine has an odor too. If you watch that video it tells you what to use and advises that you wash the outside of the rubber door gasket, then wash the underside of it. I wish I could remember who posted this but the underside of their gasket was black with mold. I also think they recommend doing this part of a deep-cleaning on a regular basis to keep mold and bacteria at bay. Hope this helps. I would google how to clean your front loading washer and see if that points you toward it. Good luck!

Birth control was the worst for me too! I did two rounds of ivf and three transfers and birth control was by fat the worst part for me. It made me so irritable and not myself. I'm sorry you're struggling on it too.

Hi Mindy! Great idea to eat sweet potatoes for breakfast. I have a sensitive stomach too so I eat soluble fiber first on an empty stomach before I eat anything else. I was on birth control (for PCOS) from the age of like… 13 to 24. When it was out of my system, I felt SOOO much better. I didn’t realize that the intensity of my emotions was from BC! So, I feel you. Birth control makes me feel absolutely horrible. Without it, I feel way more clear headed and in control of my emotions. I’m also going through fertility treatments and these medicines are making me feel 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 right there with you!!!!

The Jurassic Park shirt looked cool. I've had those type of moments often. I don't take birth control pills, but certain housemates do for different reasons. I get my hair trimmed once a year, only because my hair grows fast.

It’s just the weather and humidity. Just rerinse your clothes on rinse and spin and they’ll be ready to dry. Happens to me here in MS as well. I had a Samsung too and I loved it.

I have to be on BC pill. My cramps were so bad beforehand...like, I was not functional for days. Couldn't be out of bed it was that bad. It saved me! Idk why but it helps so much!

Morning Mindy! Our favorite crockpot recipe is roast 😊 We throw a roast, cut up potatos, roast seasoning and a few golden peperoncinis (gives a little more flavor, not too hot - I don't like spicy things either tbh). Let it cook overnight. It's the best smell to wake up to ♥️

Reminded me of my grandmas candied sweet potatoes/yams with brown sugar dessert back home 🇲🇽

Maybe clean the washer. Mine has a tub clean cycle. I use Oxyclean washer cleaner and I add a few drops of tea tree oil. And some Borax.

I think you may just need to do a clean cycle with the washer cleaner packets. I think they are called refresh. You just toss it in without any clothes in it and it should clean your washer.

Sounds like you need a spa massage day!! When I was working fulltime I set a day once a month to get a deep tissue massage and wow that made such a difference in a very good way! Treat yourself mama you deserve it!

Do a self clean/tub clean mode on your washer every 15-20 wash cycles with hot water and bleach. Also, 6+ hours of leaving anything wet will cause a smell it should be dried soon after washing. Top loaders also need to have the lid left open at all times when not washing a load.

My toddler used to be picky with eggs, and when he was, he still loved the bacon and gruyere eggs bites from Starbucks. (With the bacon picked off lol). They sell them in the frozen sections of some stores if he ends up liking them!

My washer is doing that too! It’s so frustrating! I thought it was something I was doing. I’ve used the washing tablets and cycle and it still does it. I like the twinnings peppermint tea for the late afternoon and evening. It’s good for an upset stomach which might be good for you.

I went to move stuff from big freezer today and everything started falling at me we had to put everything in 1 freezer last week because we lost power with the tornadoes in Iowa im surprised i don't have a broken toe or foot from it here is to having a better day❤

6 hrs seems like a really long time to leave clothes sitting wet regardless of the type of washer 🤔 I'd probably just try to stay on top of it better. Laundry is one of the only chores I don't dread though...so maybe that's why lol.

I have left mine in the washer more then 6 hrs. ( sometimes life just happen and I can’t get to it or forget about it) and I haven’t had any mildew smell but my washer is about 20 years old.I have heard the new washers have been having that problem.

I cannot always sit and wait on a load of laundry. Often times I start a load before I have to leave the house or right before I go to bed. Life is too busy to always be able to switch it right when the washer ends. Adding vinegar keeps it from mildewing

I hate laundry but I do all of my house laundry and we have 8 people to do for at least. With that being said I start the washer around 7pm and always switch it around 7am the next morning.

Girl, I feel you. Laundry is not exactly the most exciting job lol. Leaving it in (even overnight, it HAPPENS) is fine. Sometimes you have to re wash, it sucks but happens lol. We’re moms/wives, and are allowed to forget things!

For the muffins you might want to put them in muffin paper.

Mindy, try just opening the lid so air can flow right after the load finishes until you can get to it

We have a Sam sung and we use the tide washing machine cleaner. We do not have any smells. Try that and keep the lid opened so it dries out in between ❤❤

Mindy! I wanted to thank you ☺️🩷 In one of your previous videos you had mentioned how birth control made you feel. And I was experiencing the same thing at the time and didn’t know why! Roast potatoes carrots 1 pack liston onion soup mix 1 large can cream of mushroom soup Fill can half way up with water and mix all the above in a bowl then pour over roast and pepper roast good cook on low for 6-8 hours I use the big carrots and chop them in half serve with croissants... This is a really good roast recipe.

Lexi seems much happier being the only cat again lol

You could try coconut flour for baking muffins. You have to use a lot of eggs while baking with it. Although I will say it does taste a little eggy sometimes. Depends on the recipe. I have made peanut butter chocolate chip muffins with coconut flour and that doesn’t taste as eggy.

My grandma and I absolutely love a vegetable beef barley soup. Not too many vegetables just enough absolutely delicious. Plus barley is extremely healthy and very nutritious. You forgot to link your makeup.But I took a screenshot. Thank you for the recommendation as always.

I find using downy refresh in unscented gets rid of that funk. My brand new washer gets funky really quick as well.

Twilight was the first movie I saw with my hubby. 15 years ago🥰 I've recently shown it to my twelve year old and it really hits what unhealthy relationships are in that movie when your impressionable kid is watching them😂😂 Luckily she's the opposite of the dramatic type so hopefully I'll be good when she starts with the bf/gf thing. For the mildew smell in your washer, try to run a cycle through with some vinegar. That's what they recommend doing if your towels start to smell mildewy.

Hey girl! So definitely keep your washer lid open to air dry the machine. That should help keep the mildew smell away and definitely try to set an alarm for when your washing machine will go off so you remember to take clothes and transfer them to dryer quicker, 😉however there should not be a smell just leaving it overnight.

I would run the machines through on a hot load with some bleach to try and clean it and then always just keep the lid/ door open always unless running to keep dry.

For crockpot I love making bacon hock soup which is bacon hock, 2 big carrots 1 potato, 1 celery, 1 zucchini

I need to try sweet potatoes with milk. I just roasted up 3 sweet potatoes. I feel you sometimes toddlers can be picky about food. My kids don't like eggs sometimes my one year old will dip his bread in my egg yoke. I made banana bread bakery style with boxed yellow cake mix. I used two big bananas, 4 eggs instead of 3, softened butter instead of oil, and milk instead of water. I cooked it in a loaf pan lined with parchment paper 325F for 1hr 15min. I hope you have a great week!

So, with the crockpot. We just do a traditional roast. Salt and peppered roast in the pot, sprinkle some onion soup mix over the top, add chopped onion, carrots and canned whole potatoes. Sprinkle the remainder of the onion soup mix over the top. I am pretty sensitive to flavors and I LOVE this recipe. Also, we did some research on our washer and there is a setting on most front loading washers. It is called 'tub clean' or something along those lines. If you put vinegar or bleach in the wash and run it on tub clean it is SOOOO much better.
