Low grade fever’s is your body’s way to stimulate your immune response to possible infection and is actually a good thing. It’s best to let it do its job. Stopping fever’s with Motrin/Tylenol slows your own body’s healing and prolongs symptoms. So many new study’s but taking a while for pediatricians to catch up. I hope your sweet baby is feeling better! My son had pneumonia as a toddler and we used breathing treatments for subsequent illnesses for a few years as he needed them. My boy fought the mask too! I would sit him in my lap and read a story as he had the treatment and that helped convince him to keep it on. In case that helps! :-) And well done Maci for being a big girl!!

Not even kidding, when my son was done, he flushed his down the toilet.

I am just an as needed cleaner/when I get to it. I’m terrible with scheduled cleaning. Nice that you have a system and stay do organized, very helpful with big family. Editor makes music way too loud and distracting. I have to keep adjusting the volume. It’s pretty terrible music usually too. Travis does a really nice job with his maybe all his music background. Otherwise I enjoy seeing your family grow and glad Rhett is a-ok! God bless!

I know when a small child has a fever it is SCARY. I have been there with my daughter several times. However, for a slight fever (not saying a high fever), it is best to just let it be. A fever is a sign that your body is fighting off the illness. Using tylenol to get rid of it will just make the illness last longer. A fever is on your side! :)

Agree! I’ve complained in the comments numerous times but editor doesn’t care and defiantly makes it worse. It annoys me to the point I skip videos. He should take note from other siblings who do a better job with theirs. Shorter or no intro. Quieter music/lower volume. Less annoying music/background sounds.

Poor little Rhett does not feel good 🤒😷 I hope it’s nothing contagious 😷 every time one of the kids got I felt bad and of course once they started school they brought every germ possible home 😩😩 I have PTSD from the day we were told our 7 yr old son had cancer 😩 every time someone gets sick I get a full blown anxiety attack…… Maci is such a cutie and she helps Mommy 💐. Perfect haircut for the summer Mia will appreciate it ….

I live in Florida, too & last time my daughter was sick, I tried to make an appointment to bring her into her pediatrician & they gave me the run around & said they didn't have any appointments & to call back the next day. Well, the office manager found out that they said that to me & called me & said it's actually against the law in Florida to not see a sick child right away. She had me come into the office without an appointment so that my daughter could be seen right away. I hope he's feeling better 😊

There's something called be kool patches anytime my little one has a fever I put that on his forehead and it makes him feel so much better also I'm sure you know this but if they're coughing or not breathing right you can always put a pillow underneath the mattress to prop them up that always helps too. He could be getting teeth that always mimics a cold.

Certainly, I know about the breathing treatments. My youngest son, who is now 32, had RSV a lot when he was a baby due to being born premature. You need one of those rubber things that look like a toy top that spins, only its little. The top part goes in-between your fingers and your lay the baby on his belly then you gently beat his back with it to losen up any mucus he might have.

Had to laugh about Mia and not looking like the same dog. We had a golden doodle. On his 1st groom, the kids and I had to ask if that was our dog because he did not look anything like the dog we dropped off. Other than the fact he was jumping all over us, we won’t have known. 😂

FYI to everyone, always take motrin ( ibuprofen/advil ) with food, both my brothers had bleeding stomache ulcers from taking motrin for a couple weeks without food, i learned in nursing school that motrin/asprin/aleve any NSAID should be taken with food
