In reality though, the biceps are four muscles all together, so we do we call everything biceps? Because they do the same job. It flexes and supinates the forearm. The tongue and it’s eight muscles, however, are all different and have different jobs. That’s why you can’t count them as one. Compared to the biceps, who’s muscles all connect to the same place and are remotely similar to one another, the tongue muscles don’t connect to the same place, and they look different.
