O that is sad but not really surprising. I thing most of the timewhen kids are out of this world it’s because of something unhealthybetween them and the parents. One question: doesn't taking steroidsmess up the way to look for life? Or is it just for woman?

Square-cube ratio. Muscle strength is based on the cross-section of the muscle, so proportional to the square of the linear measurement. Body weight is proportional to volume, and so to the cube of linear measurement. If you take a human and purely scale them up or down (which is NOT how body growth works of course, but gives an approximation), they will be linearly weaker for their body weight. As Isaac Asimov pedantically pointed out in a review of a science-fiction-ish show called Land of the Giants, this is why you can't have giants that could hold humans in their hands: at that scale, bone is not strong enough to support that much weight. Of course, at the other end, there are problems with body heat distribution, but that's another matter.

i agree that it would be cool to see this, but as someone who’s done some ultras, their odds of success would be about as low as my odds of outrunning goggins - it’s just not going to happen. their bodies could probably move 100 miles in 24 hours, but i would be truly amazed if any of them had the mental strength to do it just for the sake of the video. they could probably physically do it, but i don’t think that any of the three have a good enough reason to keep pushing when things get tough and then keep getting worse. it would be cool to watch them try though, not least because they might inspire some people watching to push themselves beyond where they think they can go

Your body is stunted by body-building type weight-lifting when you're young. Jake, in my opinion, shows much of that in his form. It's perfectly fine to do aerobics, to learn the basics of lifts and even to lift for high-reps low weight. But nobody should be doing shaping until they're well past puberty.

@@jippse6608 Able to sustain, vs optimal outcome. I have no doubt that Jake has very strong bones, but if you look closely, many of them are rather short, which ultimately means that even if he packs on as much muscle as he can, he's limited in compression distance, or leverage. Further, having strained his ligaments and joint tissues, he's going to be prone to early arthritis, possibly taking decades off his functional life. Yes, he was the strongest animal in his size for a few years, and maybe that helped him survive. But his grandchildren will miss his education, and his life as an adult will be harder.

@@up4open763 anabolic steroids before puberty might stunt growth, which could explain their height, also it's not "you're short cause you lifted heavy weight and did calisthenics" it's you did that better than others cause you're short, shorter limbs support stronger pressing strength, also makes your proportions easier for balance and calisthenics. You don't become taller from playing basket ball, you just will never make it in basketball unless you're tall enough.

It's not only what the chose to become. Being strong is just sooo much easier when you are young as the strength to weight ratio is really in your favor. Growing up can destroy your athletic abilities even if you train hard as fuck. You also see that a lot with young climbers.

climbers? dude total strength and the ability to lift your body weight with your finger tips is far from the same thing, ofcourse it will be harder to lift your own body for longer periods of time if you weigh more, but you will still be stronger in any other aspect. A 100kg guy doing 5 pull ups is both stronger and more impressive than a 60kg guy doing 15 pull ups.

@@gromswowguide7927A high level of bodily control and strength as compared to mass can be impressive in its own right.
