Excellent Miles - thanks to you and all your researchers
Fascinating, and a different way of looking at the history of Bridgwater. So much work must have gone into this project, and it is now a very useful resource - thank you!
Great video
Thank you for pointing out the complex spelling and derivatives of names, and how confusing it is. As someone with Dyslexia I appreciated your admission. I would very much like to hear about Provident Place, unitarian History in the town in general, as I understand there is a link too with Wembdon road Cemetery too.
Very interesting
Thank you - another interesting presentation. I’m in the process of putting together a presentation for my local family history group about how to find your ancestors’ homes. Remembering that street names changed, not only once but probably quite a few times, is something to bear in mind. Nowadays on modern estates the streets are sometimes named after the workmen - maybe they have a connection with the area but it is a shame they don’t look at old Tithe maps first to see if they can glean better names from them.
