Actually, dogs communicate through energy and they feel/connect to our energy, also. Which is why they might come to us when we are crying, might lay next to us if we're sad, so on and so on.

I am so happy this beautiful tiny dog found himself a wonderful daddy.

A few months after my mom passed away, her dog passed away too. That same year, I found a abandoned chihuahua mix pup in the park. She followed my kids and me and climbed into the car on her own. I believe she was meant for us. I asked around and checked for a microchip and nothing. She has been with us ever since that day.

Glad you took that pup in. Dogs are people are good together. Dogs have a great sense of loyalty. Yrs ago while walking along a riverside road here in a chilly day in Fla l looked down and saw a hairless animal whose eyes weren't open yet who was turning blue from the cold damp weather. I picked it up and stuck it under my sweat shirt against my sin for warmth. Went to my Dad's house and he told me it was a newborn female squirrel. He gave me a cardboard box with a clean towel to wrap her in. He let me know pet shops sell milk for kittens that work well for squirrels. I named her Annie. Took her home fed her and cuddled her keeping her warm dry and clean. I took her to the office where l worked so l could care for her. I took her with me to my Dr's appt and showed them what looked like a little rash trying to firm where she urinated. The Dr gave me some sanitary wipes to use. I had no kids and loved holding her and taking care of her. She grew up and found a squirrel boyfriend. I eventually had to move but a friend if mine who lived 2 houses down put out water and food for Annie. I went bk to that street months later and Annie saw me, ran up my pants leg and burrowed in my hair clutching my neck and licking my skin.

A chi is a great dog. I am no 64 years young and chihuahuas are the only type of dog we have ever owned. I have one right now. Hes amazind, he knows when i sad. He climbs on my lap, get on his hind legs front legs on my shoulders and pushes his face into mine. His version of a 🫂 hug..

Awww sooo cute

My neighbor put his cat outside and went on vacation. I took her in. The vet said she has fib and feline leukemia, and wouldn’t live very long. That was over 5 years ago! We love her so much, and she knows it! She is so smart and such a joy! When I come home from work, she is sitting in the window waiting on me! We will walk through heaven together someday !!!!!!

Some guy kept his dog in the bk garden in all weather's ' freezing cold night's even roasting hot days and nights ! So we went over the wall one nite and took the poor thing. Found out later it was a drug sniffer dog for the police . HAHAHA HE FOUND EVERY DRUG ON THE ESTATE. PARTY ON GUYS . THE DOG STILL FINDS DRUGS TO THIS DAY AND THAT WAS A YEAR AGO.....

Idk how anyone could abandon such a sweet innocent creature. Hobart is adorable and looks like he has a great home now.

This little dog is SOOOO CUTE. I'm glad that Officer Mercado changed his mind and brought this little guy home with him. He's too small and too sweet to be lost on the streets of L.A. Especially with how cold its been lately and how busy the streets are.

Heartwarming. There are still some good people left in this world.

I rescued my sweet Jade 8 months ago and I could never imagine life without her. Someone left her in a drainage ditch right down the street from my house, took me all weekend, but I have my precious baby here safe and home where she is meant to be. It's people like you that give us hope and faith in humanity!!! Again, thank you and bless you!!!

Mercado couldn't leave this tiny Chihuahua puppy to fend for himself on the street, thank God. I'm so happy he decided to adopt Hobart. They will be best friends as long as they live. ❤

This just brought tears to my eyes.

I know, over here in UK teacup dogs cost a couple of grand yet this little fella was strolling around homeless.

My oldest puppy, Joe was abandoned by his previous owners. They had abused him so badly you could count his ribs including one that they had broken. He's been my baby boy for 8 years now, and I couldn't imagine my life without him.

I adopted a stray from ASPCA 4 years ago. 1 of 3. Great dogs 1 and 3 very protective under 30 pounds. #2 very friendly. But she was raised by a family. Love(d) my boy 18 years and girl for 12 years and love my girl now. For 4 years. 🥰🐶🙏just can’t believe people don’t adopt 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

We have many strays and abused animals (cats and dogs) in the Atlanta area, too. This is a heart warming and joyful story, little Hobart was obviously destined to be found and adopted by a loving family. Neuter and Spay America and World!

Great advice Judith. During the pandemic, my neighbors and I were able to catch and neuter all the feral cats living around our buildings. We are now feeding them and they keep the rats away.

Thank you so very much sorry for adopting this lovely boy. One thing on life I have found out that when you rescue these animals that are abandoned they more than likely will never give you a problem they are so happy to have somebody who cares for them and loves them like they would love them unconditional love always. My wife and I have an aging German Shepherd female she is a sweetheart she's having trouble with her hindquarters we're getting her medication which is helping but it is just crushing knowing that eventually, it's going to get so bad that we're going to have to put her down. We have been finding different alternative treatments for her that are helping massaging her with a frequency healer seems to be helping. God bless you sir you are an absolute hero for rescuing this adorable little guy God bless you and yours😊😊😊

How could anyone reject that precious pup. He seems so smart, and he is gorgeous. The officer is smart as well. He was going to be the owner for sure, but he went home, and most likely discussed it with his family, and thought about what a responsibility a dog is. I know that it will work out. The reason for so many strays is the lack of making a good decision, and not spaying and neutering. These two guys, Hobart and his owner look so cute together.

I'm quite certain that puppy has found an excellent companion. If you have the patience to be a police officer then you would of course be an excellent dog/puppy master.
