I do these even tho I know logically they don’t work. But if you can convince yourself you slightly look more like your ideal person, really boosts your confidence. You know it doesn’t work but you want to believe so bad since what you wish for is impossible. And when you struggle with self esteem at a really deep level you will try to grasp any hope. For instance everytime I hate something about myself I convince it’s ok because I can get plastic surgery one day. It’s really hard .
